On this auspicious moment of the celebration of one year anniversary , on behalf of my family and supporters with profund joy,I Felicitate our pragmatic Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru,GGCEHF, FNIOB, FCA, and Wife, Her Excellency,Chief (Mrs) Mary-Maudaline Uzoamaka Nwifuru, the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Her Excellency ,Princess (Mrs) Patricia Onyeoma Obila,the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly,Rt. Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa, the State Chief Judge, Justice Elvis Ngele and other brother Judges,the EXCO Members and National Assembly Members as well as relevant State actors in the Ebonyi Project on this remarkable one year in office.

Your Excellency, undoubtedly, you have enthroned unity, peace, and harmonious relationship; the hallmark of modern democracy through your purposeful leadership style encapsulated in the mantra "The People's Charter of Needs".

In the last one year, you have demonstrated unwavering commitment towards the socio-political and economic development which has carved a niche for you in the political history of our dear State, Ebonyi.

Your laudable achievements such as payment of gratuity and pensions to retirees, empowerment programs, construction of internal roads within the Abakaliki metropolis, revamping of the health sector through procurement of ambulances, vehicles for Doctors, medical equipment, employment of workers, revitalization of Izhiangbo pipe industry, Fertilizer plant, water scheme, Scholarship Award and payment of monthly allocation to DC for rural development, among other too numerous to mention are testament of your commitment and passion towards repositioning our state for posterity.

Without mincing words, I am proud to say that it's abundantly clear that Ebonyians are happy with your leadership and political will, hence the unceasing solidarity and appreciation flowing across party boundaries in favour of your administration.

Your Excellency, as we relish this moment of your monumental achievement, I crave God's indulgence to increase you in wisdom and understanding for more uncommon accomplishments and glories.

National Assembly Gets N70bn, Judiciary N35bn From Tinubu’s N500bn Palliatives

The National Assembly is to get N70 billion in the 2022 Supplementary Appropriation Bill to improve the working conditions of its new members.

Conversely, farmers who suffered the devastating 2022 floods across the country, will be getting N19 billion.

These are contained in the bill considered by the House of Representatives on Thursday during plenary.

– N185,236,937,815 to the Ministry of Works and Housing to alleviate the impact of the severe flooding experienced in the country in 2022 on road infrastructure across the six geopolitical zones;

-N19,200,000,000 to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture to ameliorate the massive destruction to farmlands across the country during the severe flooding experienced last year;

-N35 billion to the National Judicial Council;

– N10 billion to the Federal Capital Territory Administration for critical projects;

-N70 billion to the National Assembly to support the working conditions of new members.
