Motherhood is indeed priceless.

I remember the first few weeks after delivery, I would lay my baby down to sleep and spend time looking at her. I could even wake in the middle of the night and begin to gaze at her. You know what runs in my mind? "So like play like play, I'm now a mother, responsible for a full human being😀. Sometimes, I'll even take my hands close to her nose to make sure she's still breathing. I can do this so many times I don't know why I do it anyway😀 As funny as that may seem, but that is my reality .

Not as though I've changed now, I still subconsciously do that sometimes. I could spend a long time watching her sleep instead of resting myself. And that moment I feel I've done enough let me sleep. Boom! She wakes! Sleep aborted.

I don't know if I'm the only one on this table mothers In the house.

So today makes it exactly one year God delivered my entire family from being wiped out from the surface of the earth.

It happened that I was feeling funny for some days and on this day (valentine day) 2024, I decided to go to the lab to run a pregnancy test. Unsure of what the outcome would be after all, I've waited for years and it seems nothing was forthcoming. But I still summed up courage with the little faith left in me, I decided to go. The period of waiting for result was the longest waiting period of my life😀. Finally result came with a CONGRATULATIONS and I felt an unspeakable joy from within. Couldn't wait to tell hubby when I get home.

Finally hubby came home and with all excitement, I handed him the envelop to see for himself. Hubby's reaction is a story go another day but be sure its one of excitement. That how hubby said I should dress up so we go out. In my mind we are going to groove but alas it was church this man was taking me to. There we Sang, praised, danced and dedicated our new family to God. After which we decided to hang out not knowing this was the moment that devil was waiting for. On our way, we had an accident where we both fell in the middle of the road and there was a car on motion coming towards us. It was by Gods mercy we are alive today. How we escaped, I don't know . All I know is that I'm the one typing this testimony today.💃😀😭
I had serious stomach pain due to the effect of the accident where I thought the baby was gone but Mercy said no! That my bundle of joy will celebrate this year's valentine with me.

Now the question that wouldn't leave my mind till date is what if hubby didn't take us to church,? what if I argued with him or insisted he takes us out first ? What if , what if-------

I'll end by saying, no matter your state, prayer is a necessary factor you can't ignore cos the devil goes about like a roaring lion looking for who to devour. Say no to every appearance of evil What is bad requires prayers and likewise, what is good, requires more prayers SHALOM!!
