WHY SEVERAL PAINS IN AND HOW TO RELIEF THEM
Pain is one of the most common complains pregnant women give during pregnancy.
Areas that pains are felt during pregnancy are;🧤💥💥
Abdominal Pains: This type of pain can be felt in the abdominal region due to expansion of the abdominal muscles to accommodation the growing fetus(baby)
Waist pain: Waist pain may be due to poor posture,wearing of tight clothing,or heel shoes,etc..all this obstruct enough blood supply to the muscles around the waist causing a pain stimulating hormones to be released, bringing about the pain.
Pelvic pain: Pelvic pains are those pains located around the pelvic regions,e.g va**na pain,anal pain,etc..this pain comes as a result of hormonal effect on the bones and muscles this causes the relaxation of muscles...when muscles are relaxed they are easily stretched or expand...this expansion is to prepare the bones,joints and muscles to make way for the passage of the baby during delivery...pelvic pains are mainly experinced during the last weeks of pregnancy towards the delivery due date.
Leg Pains or Cramps: These are pain that focus mainly on the legs...they arise due to the weight of the growing uterus(womb) on the legs..weight of products of conception (baby,amniotic fluid,placenta etc) are all carried by the legs and this creates more loads to the legs thus bringing about pains.
Headaches: Headache is another type of pains experienced during pregnancy...this occurs due to changes taking places in the body and the body trying to adapt to these changes can result in headaches or neck pains.
General body pains: This might be due to unnecessary stress during our daily activities or our normal routine works..pregnancy requires a lot of rest and when the body is denied of that rest..it can lead to general body pain.
How to Relief pains during Pregnancy.
Maintaining a good Posture: Posture contribute to most of the pains experienced in pregnancy,make sure that the place you lie down or sleep is comfortable,wear a loose clothes,put on comfortable shoes and avoid heel shoes,avoid standing for a long period,always adopt a comfortable position while sitting.
Use of warm water in form of bathing(warm water bathing) or using it for body massage;Warm water stimulates blood flow to stiff muscles and frozen joints, making a warm tub or pool is an ideal place to do some gentle stretching.
Use of Cold Ice packs:You can either use an Ice blocks tied on a clean towel to gently nab or press on the areas you feel those pains..this will help relief the pains.
Taking lots of water:This helps to keep the body hydrated and preventing dehydration that can cause the body to undergo an unnecessary tension.
Above all Be happy and always have it in mind that every crown comes with pains..the smile of your little one when you deliver will make you forget all the pains you passed through.
NOTE:Any pain that becomes severe,unusual or unbearable should be reported to the hospital..it might be a signal that something is wrong. Severe pain is a danger sign in pregnancy.
