Opu inya is a traditional dance of the Izhi Nnodo people of Ebonyi State Nigeria. It is used to eulogies and praise an accomplished farmer and statesman who has attained the highest level of success in the society. For you to be able to procure a HORSE (inma inya) or Jioke, the society will really bestow on you the highest title in the land. Stay tuned for my next video for more. Thank you.

This clay pot is called Ité Minií in my native Izhi dialect, Abakaliki. Ebonyi State.
It is used to store drinking water, it is kept by the corner of the room or kitchen.
The water from this clay pot is usually cold and can quench your thirst no matter how thirsty you've been.
