On Thursday, 6th March, 2025, I had the opportunity to sit with His Excellency, the President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the A*o Rock Presidential Villa, together with other 773 Fellows selected from the 774 LGAs in Nigeria, as he inaugurates us as Health Fellows to ensure that quality health care gets to all the nooks and crannies of the federation.
This was after 2 weeks of intensive training on Public Health, Leadership, Data and Financial Management, as well as Problem Solving Skills.

The recruitment process is one of its kind as everything was automated and digitalised, free and fair, making sure that all selections were based on merit from the rigorous application and interview processes, as no one can boast of being a 'godfather' through which any of us were selected. This is indeed a renewed hope that as a nation, we have all it takes to make the system work and offer equal opportunities to all.

Special honour to the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Hon. Mohammad Ali Pate, CON. Mohammed Ali Pate Engagements for pioneering this path of excellence, you are indeed a great and exceptional leader. You've proven to us that a common Nigerian, who knows no one can be given an equal opportunity with everyone else to be selected into service. Thank you for being an example of a true Father.
To our State Coordinator, Mrs. Odi Okoro, you are a mother indeed 😊 God bless you ma, as well as all those who were in the helm of affairs to make sure that this whole process was a success, thank you very much.
His, Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, thank you sir, for that last statement that got us all rolling in excitement, (YOU ARE HIRED) 😀

We've been called to serve and contribute our quota to the health of the nation, ensuring that everyone gets all healthcare benefits, especially in the underserved and rural areas of our communities, and in that mandate, I stand.
