Nwoba Chika Nwoba Declares Interest for PDP National Publicity Secretary ~ Ebonyi Reporters

Former Ebonyi State publicity secretary of both APC and PDP, Nwoba Chika Nwoba, has declared his interest in becoming the National Publicity Secretary of the newly restructured Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Nwoba said the party under Amb. Umar Damagum has lost focus and needs to be fixed. He recognized Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike as the new leader of the PDP and appealed to the party leadership and Ebonyi PDP leader, Chief Ifeanyi Odii, to nominate him for the position.

According to him, his years of experience, media connections, and past roles as spokesman for Buhari and Atiku campaign councils in Ebonyi make him well-qualified for the job.

The victims, identified as a barber and a tricycle operator, were allegedly attacked by members of a rival cult group during a violent confrontation.

Residents said the incident caused tension in the area as people fled for safety

Ebonyi to Build 65 Houses for Widows, Award 140 Scholarships~ Ebonyi Reporters

The Ebonyi State Government has approved 65 houses for widows and scholarships for 140 students at the new Ebonyi State University of ICT, Oferekpe Agbaja.

Commissioner for Information, Chief Ikeuwa Omebe, said the project supports Governor Nwifuru’s People’s Charter of Needs and aims to help the poor and promote education across the state.

We write to you with great respect and admiration for your tireless service and sacrifices for the good of our people. You have stood out as a true representative of the masses, a man whose passion for community development and empowerment speaks louder than any words.

We understand how painful and discouraging defamation can be — especially when it comes from people who may not fully understand your mission or contributions. However, as people who know your worth and the many lives you have touched, we want to encourage you to rise above such distractions.

Please, sir, ignore the unnecessary noise and the hurtful words from this young man called Achor Chisom, who has chosen to call you names and spread false information. Such actions are often driven by ignorance, envy, or external influence. Those who truly know you are aware of your integrity, humility, and the countless developmental works you have brought to your constituency and beyond.

Great leaders have always faced criticism, but what defines them is their ability to stay focused on their vision despite all odds. Your good works continue to speak for you, and history will always remember the impact you have made in uplifting the poor, empowering the youth, and fostering unity in our communities.
