One EKSU Student Drowned in Ero Dam, Search Continues for Second

The body of one of two Ekiti State University (EKSU) students feared drowned in Ero Dam, Ikun Ekiti, was recovered on Sunday evening.

The students, Oluwatobiloba Osho and Oladimeji Victor, both from the Department of Theatre Arts, were reportedly missing after visiting the dam while on a research trip with their supervisor.
The police confirmed the recovery of one body and are continuing the search for the second student.

The incident occurred last weekend when the students, after completing their research work in Igogo Ekiti, decided to visit the dam.

The police, along with local fishermen, have been actively searching the dam and surrounding areas since the students were reported missing.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a female fan caught Wizkid's attention while he was performing. She was screaming his name loudly and was asked by Wizkid if she was single. After responding yes, Wizkid offered to take her home and give her N5 million, but only if she was truly single for the night.
