LONE CAR CRASH KILLS DRIVER ON OSHODI-APAPA EXPRESSWAY 💔🚗

A tragic lone accident claimed the life of a driver in the early hours of Saturday along Oshodi-Apapa Expressway.

Details:
- Location: Charity Bus Stop, inward Iyana Isolo
- Response: LASTMA officials + Nigeria Police Force arrived swiftly for rescue & recovery
- Status: The deceased has been recovered and the vehicle cleared to ease traffic on the busy corridor

LASTMA urges motorists to avoid speeding, fatigue driving & reckless maneuvers, especially at night/early hours when visibility is low.

- Association reaffirmed support for unity, welfare programs & community development initiatives

MANHUNT LAUNCHED: Driver Who Killed 2 Policemen in Osun on the Run 🚨

Osun State Police Command is hunting for a driver who ran over and killed 2 officers in a hit-and-run along Osogbo/Gbongan Road, Oogi community.

The incident was confirmed Thursday by the Command’s spokesperson, Abiodun Ojelabi.

What we know so far:
The driver allegedly struck the officers and fled the scene. Police have since launched a full manhunt to track him down and bring him to justice.

This comes amid rising concerns over hit-and-run cases on major highways.

If you have any info on the vehicle or driver, report immediately to the nearest police station.

ONE-CHANCE ROBBERS CAUGHT IN OBANTOKO! iPHONE 12 PRO RECOVERED 🚕🚨

Ogun Police just nabbed 2 suspected “one-chance” robbers terrorizing Obantoko!

What happened:
On May 28, 3 sisters boarded a Nissan Micra from Somorin → NNPC Kuto. At OLG Somorin, the driver diverted, turned violent, robbed them & pushed them out. One lost her iPhone 12 Pro.

Police action:
Obantoko Division detectives + vigilant residents responded fast. Odunuga Kehinde & Olajide Rasak were arrested on the spot. Police also stopped angry residents from taking mob action.

Recovered: iPhone 12 Pro + other suspected stolen phones. The iPhone has been returned to the owner. Suspects are in custody pending prosecution. The taxi escaped.

CP Bode Ojajuni praised the teamwork between police & public and vowed to keep “one-chance” gangs off Ogun roads.

Safety tip: Confirm vehicle details + driver ID before boarding. If you suspect “one-chance”, raise alarm immediately.

OGUN POLICE NAB FATHER & SON, RECOVER 4 GUNS + STOLEN PHONE 🚔

Ogun State Police Command just wrapped up multiple intel-led operations with major wins:

1. Father & Son Arrested – Afon Division*
Fatai Adegbola & son Waliu, 23, were arrested after Waliu allegedly stole a Tecno Android phone worth ₦180,000 on May 8. Police tracked, recovered the phone, and found a locally made pistol + dane gun hidden in their home during a warranted search.

2. Gun Recovered – Ilisan Remo Division*
A locally fabricated pistol with 1 live cartridge was found abandoned at Ilisan Remo Roundabout during patrol on May 27. Under investigation.

3. Cult Suspect Arrested – Ode Remo Division*
Inioluwa Adesanya, 25, posed as a carpenter’s assistant, broke into a home & stole a dane gun. He confessed + admitted Aye confraternity membership. Gun recovered, suspect heading to SCID Eleweran.

Total haul: 4 fi****ms – 2 locally made pistols, 2 dane guns + 1 live cartridge + stolen phone.

CP Bode Ojajuni commended officers for swift, professional work and vowed sustained crackdown on violent crime, cultism & illegal fi****ms.
