Petroleum marketers have warned that the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol, could exceed N1,000 per litre following President Bola Tinubu’s approval of a 15 per cent ad valorem import tariff on fuel imports.

The new policy, which takes effect after a 30-day transition period expected to end on 21 November 2025, is part of the government’s strategy to protect local refiners and reduce the influx of cheaper imported products that threaten domestic refining investments.

However, marketers say the move could backfire and push retail prices beyond the reach of average Nigerians.

“As it is, the price of fuel may go above N1,000 per litre. I don’t know why the government will be adding more to people’s suffering,” one of the depot operators said.

It's heartbreaking when the people you're supposed to trust and see as family are the ones molesting and abusing you.

From time immemorial,sexual abuse is always prevalence among family members. It's easily done by the perpetrators because they're close family members that the child trusts. Mothers,kindly raise your kids by yourself and avoid sending them to relatives. It's too dangerous.

Ochanya Ogbanje was taken to the city by her aunt @ age 5 to continue her education simply because there's no secondary school in the village where her parents live. Her nephew,her aunt's son started defiling her at age 8. Her niece,the sister to the boy caught them in the act and reported to their dad. Instead of the boy to be dealt with,the father also joined in molesting the girl. It now became father and son affairs until she's 13 years. Her aunt knew about it but refused to help her. She did what most women will do;save her marriage and ignore the girl's mystery. The girl's body couldn't take the abuse no more and she kpai from VVF complications.

7 years later,we seek justice for Ochanya Ogbanje because the perpetrators of this crime are walking freely unpunished. Join us to seek justice for her by reposting ,liking ,sharing and commenting till it gets to the right authority because justice she must get.
