Women are pushed into meeting societal expectations from a young age. They hear things like, "When you grow up, you'll go to your husband's house." As they get older, the pressure increases with questions like, "Where is your husband?" or "When are you getting married?" If they don't follow this path, they are often criticized or left out.
Even after marriage, the pressure doesn’t stop. They are asked, "Why haven't you had a child yet?" or "When are you having another one?" The constant pressure to fit into these norms can feel overwhelming.
There are also everyday messages that reinforce stereotypes, like "A woman's place is in the kitchen" or "She's just a woman, what does she know?" These subtle remarks hold back women and limit their potential.
We need to challenge these expectations and build a society that values women's independence and individuality. It's time to break free from harmful gender norms and embrace equality and empowerment for everyone.
