LEAVE IT FOR GOD

READ 1 Peter 5:7 📌casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.📌

The promises of God all through the scriptures are reminders to us of the faithfulness of God.

When someone makes you a promise, your heart quickly checks the integrity and the capacity of the one who promised, so you can make up your mind if you will depend on it or not.

The one who says you should cast your cares on Him owns the heart of the kings and chiefs and directed them like the flow of waters.(Proverbs 21:1)

The one who says He will carry all your burdens is not just willing, He is well capable. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.(Psalm 50:7)

Worrying means you are going back to pick what you already handed over to God. Leave it for Him. He is the best at what He does.

I know your son has brought home evil reports. You are wondering if the wayward and drug addict of a son is truly yours. The prodigal son still came home. Your son will come home free. Just keep your faith alive and keep praying.

You have written the examinations three times and you have failed all three. Now, you are about writing the fourth and failure is staring you in the eye. Peter, a fisherman also toiled all night and caught nothing but when He allowed Jesus to step in, his breakthrough came so big, he had to borrow more boats to accommodate his overflowing blessings

Your strength is too small for life challenges. Let the one who cares for you be your strength. Leave it for God!

PRAYER POINT: Lord, I cast all my burdens and surrender them at your feet. Take over from me Lord! Amen!

MY CUP RUNS OVER

READ PSALMS 23: 5 📌You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.📌

Your cup will run over or overflow when the Lord anoints your head. This shall be your experience this week in Jesus name.

Your cup can be your family, your business, your career, your ministry, your properties, your marriage, your finances, your health.

There is an explanation to the emptiness you are experiencing in your business, career, family, and ministry. It is because your head has not received the anointing. When your head lacks oil, the evidence is in the emptiness of your cup.

Anytime the Lord promises you overflowing blessings, start paying attention to your head. Your head receives the anointing- which is wisdom, insight, instruction, direction, revelation that will cause a supernatural shift in experience.

The anointing that the Lord places on your head will be the difference in your results from other people's.
This week, receive the anointing that causes overflowing results in all your endeavours in Jesus name.

ACTION POINT: You cannot receive the anointing- the blessing, the wisdom, the instructions, the insights when you are too busy to hear. Find time alone to meditate this week.

WITH MERCY

READ Mark 10:48-49 📌Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

49 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called.
Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”📌

I don't know how you got into that mess but I am sent to announce to you: Mercy of God can bail you and bring you out.

Whatever circumstances you are in, either legitimate or not, the mercy of God can reverse judgement for you.

When you cry for mercy, you are asking God to look beyond you and consider the blood and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.

You may have missed your way sincerely and entered into an unprecedented mess, but the mercy of God can create a way, where it had not happened before just for you to come out.

The blind Bartimaeus cried out for mercy and secured the attention of Jesus.

ACTION POINT: If you will cry to the Lord for help this morning, this month, He will show up in a way that will surprise you because His mercies are new every morning

ARE YOU TRAVELING WITH GOD?

READ GENESIS 13:10-12 📌And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the Lord destroyed S***m and Gomorrah) like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar. 11 Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. And they separated from each other. 12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as S***m.📌

There are many intellectual decisions that will land you in trouble if you don't check it with God.

God is a God of principles, and the principles are His own. However, the devil can interrupt principles and sow tares among the wheat; so that what was supposed to be a good selection turns out to be a mess.

What looks like the next right thing to do might not be the next in God's agenda for you.

Don't choose what you want and then ask God to come and join you in it. Let Him be the Alpha and the Omega of your moves.

God cannot defend a project He did not start. God will not sponsor a project He did not command.

ACTION POINT: You will save yourself from troubles when you cultivate an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit and stay sensitive in the Spirit at all times.

BE VIGILANT

READ 1 Peter 5:8 📌Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.📌

God has sent me to someone this morning to be sober and vigilant. There is a breakthrough ahead of you and the devil is orchestrating plans to delist you from the beneficiaries.

The devil will stop at nothing to steal from you, to kill your dreams and destroy your future. You will stop him, not by crying but by resisting him.

How do you resist the devil?

There is a recommendation for you in 1 Peter 5:6-9

📌 Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God: This is to make your plans, His plans and His path, your path. Don't map out everything and now invite Him over. No! Let Him be the orchestrator and the initiator. He cares for you more than you do to yourself.

📌 Discover God's path for you and start walking in it as early as possible. Any path that is not God's path for you is a trap! Your path can make you conquer cities and settle for less when God's path for you is to take over nations, and make you a household name.

📌Pray about everything. When you win, pray! When you lose, pray! Before you start, pray! When you finish, pray! Prayer is essential for starting as well as for sustenance.

📌Be courageous to go through a different path if God instructs it. Don't assume for God, just because it seems like the next responsible thing to do. Every path that is not God's path for you is still a trap to limit you.

PRAYER POINT: Lord, hold my hands. Let me never walk past you in Jesus name!

GRATEFUL FOR ONE

READ Luke 17:17-19 📌So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”📌

One of the weaknesses of human nature is the tendency to focus on what is yet to work rather than to focus on what is already working.

God healed the ten lepers in our anchor scripture today but the nine didn't even realize the progress they were already making because all their focus was on their wholesomeness.

Please note that God speaks according to His size. The mighty man of valor that He says you will become might appear far-fetched.

This is why you will always need faith like a lens to see what God is seeing that made Him say what He said to you.

God calls those things that do not exist as though they did.

When He says you will be so wealthy that nations will borrow from you, stop focusing on your bank account that is looking like "radio frequency". Rather, be grateful for the opportunity to share your lunch with the "hungry"

Every time you focus on the "cruise of oil" that you have rather than the whole meal you do not have, you are engaging in the same principle of divine multiplication that used "five loaves and two fish" to feed five thousand.

There is milk and honey flowing in your promise land but you must be grateful for every progress to see it manifest.

Focusing on what is working radiates the energy that you need to solve what is yet to work.

ACTION POINT: If your walk with God will produce the desired results, you must be grateful for every seemingly little progress towards your goal.

SEEING EYES AND HEARING EARS

READ HABAKKUK 2: 1 📌I will stand my watch
And set myself on the rampart,
And watch to see what He will say to me,
And what I will answer when I am corrected.📌

Oh! How precious are the eyes that can see and the ears that can hear.

The reason why many people walking with their ears and eyes wide open, still fall into the trap of the enemy is because they are spiritually blind and deaf.

Many troubles that have programmed setbacks into your life could have been avoided if you were seeing and hearing correctly.

The seeing eyes and the hearing ears set you apart from your colleagues and contemporaries.

It is our advantage as believers even in the secular world because it helps you to make informed decisions that may not be found using AI or google.

You can see what others are yet to see, you can hear what others are yet to know if you are willing to pay the price required.

There are three conditions that make you see the invisible and hear the inaudible in our anchor scripture today and they are:

📌 The invisible and the inaudible are secrets with the Lord that only those who have an active relationship with Him can have access to (Proverbs 25:14)

📌 You must have a WATCH time. God can reveal secrets at any time. However, spiritual secret answers to dedication. You have to prove your dependability by appointing a designated time where you train and discipline yourself to hear and see in the Spirit

📌 You must practise alone moments and eliminate distractions at all times. By doing this, you are training your mind and spirit to stay sensitive. You can't be everywhere with divided attention and expect to hear DIVINE secrets that money cannot buy.

ACTION POINT: There is so much God wants to reveal to your eyes and ears if you will pay attention.

SHEEP WITHOUT SHEPHERDS

READ Mark 6:34 📌And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things📌

The world is full of knowledge of various kinds. There is hardly any topic regarding life you won't find on the internet.

However, the understanding gap is so wide that it is evident in the results of men. This is why God is seriously searching for shepherds who will take care of His sheep and lead them to green pastures.

God's sheep are in need of green pastures, which is the word in season and its correct application to their everyday lives. This is why God is looking for shepherds for His sheep.

Shepherds, who out of concern for the sheep, will close the understanding gap on various subject matters, especially in the faith and other mountains of influence.

You don't need to understand all subject matters to impact your world. In your small groups, whether in church, at work, in your class, or at the gym, keep sharing the truth of God's word where it is applicable to people's daily activities.

Why keep quiet over a subject matter you have understanding about, and leave the world in confusion over it?

Let God stir compassion in your heart to share your knowledge. You will be amazed at how many people attend church regularly but lack understanding of the correct application of the word in their lives.

God is in need of Shepherds for His sheep. Are you willing to be one? Are you willing to be a steward of His mysteries? Can you be trusted to present "green pastures" always for His sheep?

PRAYER POINT: Lord, prepare my heart and make me a genuine shepherd that truly cares for your sheep.

LEADING WITH EXAMPLES

READ MARK 1:35-37 📌Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed. 36 And Simon and those who were with Him searched for Him. 37 When they found Him, they said to Him, “Everyone is looking for You.”📌

After a busy evening of healing the sick and casting out devils, Jesus departed to a solitary place to refresh Himself.

He purposely remained there until His disciples found Him. This demonstrates the leadership with examples from the life of Jesus.

In leadership, how you live your life speaks more volumes than what you say.

As leaders, we have the tendency to make people see us only in our best state. While it is okay to always put your best foot forward, you impact people more when they can relate to a balanced perspective of you.

Jesus as a leader, allowed His disciples to see Him sleep and rest in the boat when He was tired.

Jesus, as a leader, allowed His disciples to see Him hungry and He ate not only in their presence, but together with them.

How can people follow the footsteps they cannot see?

You can't remember to teach people everything. You must be transparent enough as a leader to allow the people you lead learn from you by observation.

Don't give the impression that you can never be wrong.

Allow the people you lead to see that the mighty works from your life are through the excellency of God's power and not your own righteousness.

Let them see what else you do when you are not praying. Let them see that you have a social life, yet you comport yourself accordingly. Let them see you "walk the walk" You will bless them more that way.

ACTION POINT: 📌For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps📌 1 Peter 2:21

WEAPON OF ANGER

READ Ecclesiates 7:9 📌Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry,
For anger rests in the bosom of fools.📌

Anger has destroyed many promising networks of friendships. Anger can destroy in minutes what it took many years to build.

Many homes that should not have separated have been torn apart because of the ripple effect of anger.

Many people are in prison today because they failed to consider the consequences of their continuous rage.

One dangerous fact about anger is that it doesn't come alone. The children of anger follow wherever it goes. The children of anger are physical violence, derogatory words, murder, destruction of properties, and so on.

It is true that when we are offended, we will be angry, but when we allow anger to rest for too long, it makes us do things we may later regret.

ACTION POINT: Allow the Holy Spirit to help you control your anger in order for you to be a true reflection of God's glory, virtue and power.

WHAT MUST I DO?

READ ACTS 16:30 📌And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”📌

God has never run out of ideas on how to progress your life. The one who created the heavens and the earth is not scratching His head and lost regarding the solutions to the circumstances in your life. He knows what to do!

Having established that there is a solution to the current circumstance you are in, how do we download the answers from heaven?

1. Increase your faith : God's solution ideas may not always be the obvious way out that is why you will need to increase your faith for your mind to catch up and comprehend.

There are three major ways to increase your faith-

📌Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word (Romans 10:17)
📌 Pray in the Spirit(Jude 1:20)
📌Eliminate fearful opinions and doubting Thomases around you(2 Timothy 1:7)

2. Seek Godly counsel regarding your situation : 📌Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.📌 Proverbs 11:14

3. Spend alone time praying and not worrying. Strength is renewed in prayer. Secrets are also revealed in heartfelt prayers (Daniel 2:19)

4. Ask for mercy. You will never grow above the need for mercy because the limitations of your flesh are already a disadvantage to walking with God by default. Mercy is what bails you out.

5. Heart felt praise: Captivities holding down your requests are dismantled in praise. Engage in heartfelt praise and not the one you do publicly so that others can appreciate your dancing steps.

PRAYER POINT: By your mercy Lord, show me the way out of this predicament(mention it)

MEN ALWAYS OUGHT TO PRAY

READ LUKE 18:1 📌Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,📌

You can never outgrow the need to pray, not because of "tea and bread" but prayer is how we both receive and maintain the blessings.

You are tired? Pray! You are discouraged? Pray! You are weary? Pray! Sorrow has filled your heart? Pray! You feel like it is only you trouble has been looking for? Pray!

If you faint in the day of adversity, it is because your strength is small. You didn't wait enough on the Lord to renew your strength as promised in Isaiah 40:31

Our Lord Jesus Christ showed us by example how to handle sorrowful, depressed and overwhelming moments through his prayer at the garden of Gethsemane.

He prayed His heart out and ended the prayer with a resolution- "not my will but yours be done" Luke 22: 39-45.

If you are looking for excuses not to pray, Satan will present many to you because all he wants is for you to lose your focus and "sleep so he can come and sow tares among your wheat". Be careful!

God will change your story for good. He will make crooked paths straight for you. He will split the rocks and bring water out for you. He will turn your mourning into dancing. He will fill your mouth with new songs. Testimonies that will make you shout "Hallelujah" will flood your life in Jesus name. Just don't stop praying!

ACTIVE POINT: Don't stop praying until the good becomes best and to even sustain the best, pray!
