The Benue State-born actress died on Sunday in Warri, Delta State.

Famous Nollywood actress Ada Ameh is dead.
The Benue State-born actress died on Sunday in Warri, Delta State.

Ada Ameh had on June 15 opened up on her battle with mental illness.
The 48-year-old actress had revealed that she was given a job which she failed to deliver because she was battling mental illness.
According to her, the company did not understand what she was going through and, as such, filed a lawsuit against her.
Ameh claimed the company was suing her for a staggering amount, which she seemed unable to afford.
The actress started her career 27 years ago and admitted that the lawsuit had taken a toll on her, but she wouldn’t allow it to weigh her down or kill her.
Ameh, who lost her only daughter in October 2020, stated, “It is taking my life.”

‘I went into hiding for my safety when I was falsely accused of sleeping with a dog,’ Cossy Orjiakor reveals

Nollywood actress, Cossy Orjiakor said she had to leave town when, about two decades ago, a journalist reported that she slept with dogs.

Recall that Orjiakor had recently called out the police for not taking any action when her own case was reported and made public, but acting with all sense of responsibility when a lady claimed on social media that she had slept with a dog.

Asked if there was any ‘smoke’ to the ‘fire’ in the allegations, Orjiakor said, “The pictures that went viral were actually taken on the set of a movie I was acting in at the time. It was a make-believe thing.

“Besides, there were a lot of people around (on the set), including the director and his wife. I don’t know if he (the journalist) was just trying to promote the movie, because actually, I knew him in person.

“He was dating a friend of mine and she even tried to intervene. He just put the story on the cover of the newspaper. It was so bad that even churches used me to preach. I was looked down on.

“Everybody was scared that period because they thought I had HIV/AIDS. The journalist actually included it in his report that I had contracted the disease. I had to run away for my safety. But, even when I ran away, they contacted my father and told him that I acted in a pornographic movie. It was so bad.”

On if she ever sought any form of redress from the journalist, the actress said, “I only went to the police station to report the matter because I knew it was a criminal offence.

“Back then, I was not the kind of person that could afford a lawyer because I was poor. I think I was 21 years old at the time. I was very young and there was nothing that I could do, except report the case to the police station.

“But, the police did not come out to say anything. It seemed like nobody cared. They were just happy that somebody was been dragged in the mud.

Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has responded to her ex-lover, Opeyemi Falegan who accused her of being unhygienic and unable to wash her panties for three days in a row.
Nkechi revealed that Falegan is only trying to stay relevant.
She also said she stopped wearing pants when she turned 18.
She accused Falegan of mistaking her for a 21 year old girl he once begged for cash and told Falegan to leave her alone as the battle he is trying to fight is a lost one.
She advised him to “clean the rat hole” he lives in first before accusing him of being unhygienic.
“Bro, are you dreaming? I’m shocked by this. Very laughable. Same P you forget and wake up in your hands. I can’t stop laughing. You have tried all your best to get people by your side but none seem to work out. Then this mighty lie that a day old child would detect that I don’t wear un**es. God has just used your lie to vindicate me.”
Both Nkechi and ex lover have been at each other’s throats on Instagram since they went their separate ways a few weeks ago.
