As a BACKUP SINGER, you must know your role and understand how important you are to the lead singer and instrumentalists.
If your result and commitment as a backup singer is poor, it can destroy the ministration.
You must know your limits and your range. Understand what you should do and what you should not do and play your role well.
Stick to plans and patterns as rehearsed. Stop leading, you're not the lead singer. Stop that mentality of trying to help the lead singer by echoing carelessly without being invited. Not unless you're invited to help the lead singer by the lead singer himself/herself, just don't. Just do backup, you're a backup singer, not a lead singer. Stop doing Ad-libs when the lead singer is singing and stop adding unnecessary dynamics. Your role is to backup, why are you not obeying?π€
If you have a grudge with someone in the backup team, work it out and let it be outside the pulpit. Stop showing funny attitudes when ministering just because you don't quite go along with someone in the backup team. As a child of God, solve your issues before ministrations, how can you minister with such envy, hatred, anger, and indignation!!! HOW? If you have a problem with the lead singer, stop backing up rudely and deliberately going off key, off beat, off voice, and off notes. STOP! Can you just fear God! If you don't want to minister, step down and be ministered unto.
