"What attitude do you bring to trainings and meetings?"
As I sat reflecting today, a question came to mind:
Why do some teachers leave a training inspired, while others leave exactly the same way they came?
The difference is often not the training.
It is the attitude.
I have seen teachers who attend every workshop, seminar, and meeting, yet nothing changes in their classrooms.
And I have seen others who attend one session and return with ideas that transform learning for their pupils.
The truth is that professional development is not about being physically present.
It is about being mentally available.
It is about listening with intention.
It is about being willing to challenge old habits and embrace better practices.
To every teacher and school leader:
The educational world is changing rapidly.
Children are changing.
Parents are changing.
Learning needs are changing.
If we want better outcomes, we must remain learners ourselves.
Because the moment we stop learning, we stop growing.
And when educators stop growing, schools stop improving.
So today, take a moment to reflect:
Am I attending trainings because I have to, or because I want to become better?
