I burnt my potatoes today, but it reminded me of something deeper about life.
I was frying potatoes, and before I knew it, they got burnt. It wasn’t intentional, I simply got distracted for a moment.
But as I stared at them, I realized how similar life is to this:
Sometimes we get distracted, take our eyes off what matters, and end up burning opportunities, relationships, or goals we once cared about.
It hurts when things go wrong, but here’s the lesson, mistakes are not the end.
They are reminders.
Reminders to:
✅ Pay attention.
✅ Learn from what went wrong.
✅ And try again with more care next time.
Because even though I lost a few potatoes today, I gained a lesson that will stay longer than their smell.
What’s that one mistake you’ve made recently that ended up teaching you something valuable?
