قال الصادق عليه السلام: "الصبر من الايمان بمنزلة الرأس من الجسد، فإذا ذهب الرأس ذهب الجسد، وكذلك إذا ذهب الصبر ذهب الايمان."

English:

Imam Ja’far Sadiq (SA) said: Verily, Sabr is to faith what the head is to the body. The body perishes with­out the head, and so also when Sabr goes, faith also disappears.
