Ramadan is almost here, and honestly, I’ve been thinking.
Sometimes as parents, we get so busy trying to survive life that we forget something important: Our children are growing fast.
And one day, Ramadan won’t feel magical to them anymore unless we plant something now.
Not just “fasting is compulsory”, But love.
Love for Ramadan.
Love for Allah.
Love for good character.
Love for worship that feels gentle, not forced.
Because if we’re being truthful,
Most kids today don’t struggle with Ramadan because they’re bad.
They struggle because they don’t understand it deeply.
They just see hunger, waiting for iftar, long nights.
And I don’t want my child’s memories of Ramadan to be boredom or complaint.
I want it to be warmth. Positive Meaning. Joy.
So I put together something simple for Muslim children… something that helps them connect emotionally with Ramadan in a way their hearts can carry.
No pressure.
No shouting.
Just a gentle start.
If you’re also feeling that quiet “I need to do better this Ramadan” feeling…
You’re not alone. We'll figure it out gradually, one intentional effort at a time.
Rooting for you 🌙👑
May Allah make this Ramadan the one our children remember with love. 🤍🌙
