*OPEN LETTER TO UNIABUJA VC OVER PAYMENT OF LATE COURSE REGISTRATION FEE*

Dear visionary Vice Chancellor of University Of Abuja,

With utmost humility and cerebral reasoning, I write on behalf of the GREAT UNIABUJA STUDENTS to plead for the *non implementation* of the payment of N5,000 for late Course registration.

Sir, It is deem pertinent to me as a concern student of UofA to voice out to you, the minds and embattled emotions of the great Students of University of Abuja on the effect of the late Course Registration fee.

We as Students of UofA understand and acknowledge your working capacity both infrastructurely and digitally to make University of Abuja standard, great and the very best among others but alongside with that, it's very important to consider the well being of the Students (mostly those that works day and night to cater and sponsor themselves in the University, those with struggling parents and others) .

*Frankly, the mistake made previously on the course registration that is leading to late registration and corrections now wasn't the student's fault but that of the School Portal Management Body and the ICT inputting incorrect and inappropriate courses on the Portal for both semesters of 2019/2020 session which as kept the Students worried, disturbed and hoping for rectification and moderation before COVID-19 breaks sweeps in.*

Some Students of 100Level even had late Admission which didn't warrant course registration in due time because of the COVID-19 Lockdown.

Sir, On behalf of UofA Students, I plead with you to be considerate and allow the course registration and corrections without payment of any fee and also Open portal for School fee Payment.

For we are yet to recover from the COVID-19 effect on our nation's economy, education, financial stability and emotional trauma.

While anticipating for positive response and consideration, kindly accept the assurance of my highest regard my digital and working VC.

As I bow out of office today as the Ilawe Students' Union National PRO upon the completion of my tenure,I deem it so pertinent at this time to refill my ever dancing pen in returning all accolades to Almighty God and worthy being for a successful completion of the constituted capacity entrusted in me.
I say a very big thank you to all that has made this a successful reality and impactful experience.

It is with great pleasure, I accord my sincerest appreciation to my ever supportive parent, Mr Onileowo Adeniyi & Hon Onileowo Banke, distinguished and crucial stakeholders of the noble union and few to be mentioned are Honourable Ajayi Kayode Success, Comrade Arowolo Ayomi Profsam, Ambassador Abere Ayodeji Adaba and Barrister Akinyemi Femi for their always encouragement, corrections and support, the leadership of the paliamentary session of 2020,my esteemed Comrades,friends,well wishers and the progressive Students of Ilawe-Ekiti for their deepened support, encouraging acknowledge and usual cooperation to me making my stay in office a remarkable one.

STEWARDSHIP OF OFFICE.

1) Creation of massive online awareness for Ilawe Students' Union.

2)Financial Sponsor of an Online Program tagged; HOW TO CREATE YOUTUBE CHANNEL AND MAKING MONEY to enhance creativity amongst the Students and Youth of Ilawe-Ekiti in order for them to monetize their ideals, talent and work with awareness of their goal for musical artists, comedian and others.

3) Creation of a transferable and generational OFFICIAL INSTAGRAM PAGE (the first of its kind) for Ilawe Students' Union to keep documentation of the Union's historical events, awareness of Students movement, Pictures of serving Comrade with names, portfolio and institution for proper media sensation.

4) Creation of E-MAIL for Ilawe Students' Union to help send official message and mail to official/registered personalities, company and Government.

5) Acknowledge of Heroic comrades that have served the union judiciously by releasing various Historial series of Name of Ilawe Students' Union Presidents,Senate President, female frontiers and others.

This won't have been achieve with God, you and I. I am so grateful to God almighty,the master planner of my journey for all he as done for me.

ADDRESS FOR AWARENESS OF THE UNION DURING THE ILAWE STUDENTS' UNION ANNUAL PUBLIC LECTURE 2020 WITH THE THEME: THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF NIGERIAN YOUTH TO NATION BUILDING BY COMRADE BENJAMIN ONILEOWO

Protocols,

I am capacitatively privileged to be here and standing in front of distinguished personalities and well meaning Students of ilawe-Ekiti, Ekiti State Nigeia.

With all sense of Humility, I say a big thank you to all School Managements arcoss the town for the opportunity and recognition they have give the Ilawe Students' Union so far so good, We really appreciate the beautiful gesture.

The major purpose of me standing before you is to enlighten and aware the Students of our dear country home Ilawe-Ekiti on the importance of student unionism and active participation and involvement in it.

First and Foremost, Ilawe Students' Union is an association and collection of all Ilawe-Ekiti Students from secondary School to teritary institutions that comes together for a dogged struggle and agitation for better Community, individuals goal and Students welfarism.

IMPORTANCE OF ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN ILAWE STUDENTS UNION

✓It alerts every participants either as an Executive or Legislative members with some sense of responsibility towards making themselves readily available for future tasks, most especially while saddled with public task as many àexperiences borne in unionism struggles are enough to spur one to courage, boldness, and fluency of words.

✓It fosters a very strong connection between every participants and the Elites class in the town which can in the meantime be of greater help in our individual project for better tomorrow.

✓It exposes everyone to building a very great profile for themselves and immortalize their names forever.

✓ It opens the eyes of Students to various Scholarship programmes in the State, and the one pioneered by any of the Ilawe-Ekiti's Elite class.

✓It gives opportunity to Students for bursary awards by the State Government where every applicants' bank accounts will be credited with some amount of money as Students welfarism.

✓There is always an opportunity for free jamb for Secondary Students (prerogatives are only given to those who are actively involved in Unionism struggles right from their secondary schools).

✓It help promote personal development and gives accurate information to Students on certain pressing issues.

In conclusion, The active participation in Ilawe Students' Unionism expose us to variety of knowledge on governance and leadership.

FUOYE 2020/2021 ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE: UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY APPLICANTS (DETAILS)

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) hereby informs all applicants who have applied to FUOYE in the 2020 UTME to visit the screening portal www.ecampus.fuoye.edu.ng/putme in order to participate in the online screening exercise between Saturday, 1st August and Saturday, 15th August, 2020. Cut off mark is 160.

ELIGIBILITY
i) Candidates who applied to Federal University Oye Ekiti and obtained UTME cut-off score of 160 and above.

ii) All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ Level credits (including English Language and Mathematics) obtained at not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed courses.[check screening portal for subject requirements].

iii)In addition to item (ii) above, Direct Entry candidates must possess at least two (2) A’ Level (or its equivalent) passes in relevant subjects, or possess ND (Upper Credit), NCE (Credit Pass), HND (minimum of Lower Credit), or possess a good first degree in another field, as the case may be.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTION
Each candidate will be required to pay a screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N 2,000. 00) only.

Payment should be made strictly online on the University Screening Portal using any bank Debit Card.

At this point in time, the youth ought to have forgotten the archaic and unprogressive mentality that have hinder our forefather from advancement in the moonlight of conceptual innovation and development.
Due to rapid changes in technology, automation, and the workplace itself, an old ideology can't be impactful or too useful at this era at which will are.
Young leaders should deviate from wrong mindset that keep pulling us down in Nigeria.

Most of this ancient mentality as put us all into religious,tribal and ethnical crisis.
Based on my research, finding and assertion I discovered "RELIGION AS CAUSED GREATER HARM TO HUMANITY"

Thus,We need to tackle these challenges by harnessing the innovation and creativity of youth and industry leaders to create, propagate, accelerate, and disseminate successful models at scale to prepare the next generation of creators, makers, innovators, and designers to thrive.
