Again, Vice president Kashim Shettima commissioned power infrastructure projects executed by the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited (NDPHC) at the Borno State University.

The power project, implemented under the Distribution Intervention Projects, includes a 1×7.5MVA, 33/11KV injection substation; 3km of 33KV line; 2.5km of 11KV line; 2.5km of LT line; and three 500KVA distribution transformers.

For so long, we have been profiled as a nation with a poor maintenance culture. This dysfunction cuts across both the private and public sectors, and we owe it to ourselves to say: enough is enough.

SENATOR WAMAKKO OBSERVES EID-EL-KABIR PRAYER AT CENTRAL EID PRAYING GROUND, WAMAKKO:

Muslim Ummah have been urged to remain prayerful to get Allah's continued blessings all the time.

Chief Imam of Wamakko Central Mosque, Liman Shehu Ardo Wamakko, made the call during his sermon delivered at the Eid ground.

Many personalities attended the prayers which include, including APC leader in the state, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Minister of Labor and Employment Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, his counterpart of state works, Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo.

Others are two national Assembly members, Hon. Ahmad Abdullahi Kalambaina representing Kware/Wamakko and Hon. Nasiru Shehu Bodinga, among others.
