Reports from Okitipupa indicate that a woman identified as Oluwabukola Idayat Rasheed, popularly known as Abike, has allegedly absconded with an Ajo (thrift contribution) fund belonging to her group members.

According to one of the contributors, Abike had been making regular repayments until she reportedly changed the group’s WhatsApp settings to “admin only” and stopped responding to members’ messages.

The total amount involved is said to be nearly ₦2 million. Members also noted that she has since made her TikTok account private, and her current whereabouts remain unknown.

Group members are appealing to anyone who knows her to urge her to come forward and share her side of the story—or return the contributions if the allegations are true.
