Salome Adaidu: Police arraign gospel singer Timilehin Ajayi for m¥rder

The Nasarawa State Police Command has arraigned gospel singer, Timilehin Ajayi in court for murd£ r of Salome Adaidu.

Ajayi dismembered Salome, who he claimed to be his girlfriend, when she visited him at his house in the Papalana axis at New Karshi in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The 32-year-old suspect arrived at the Nasarawa State High Court in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital on Friday, January 17. 2025.

He was arraigned on one count charge of Culpable Homicide punishable with Death, contrary to section 221 of the Penal Code Law of Northern Nigeria.

The court ordered that the suspect be remanded in a correctional facility, Lafia pending formal arraignment on a date to be assigned.

Prior to her gruesome murd£ r, the 24-year-old victim was a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), serving at Nicon Insurance in Abuja.

Ajayi was nabbed on Sunday, January 12, while trying to dispose of the head of Salome after k!!lling her and dismembering her body parts.

Abuja gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi caught with girlfriend’s s£ver£d h£ in nylon bag (video)

A gospel singer and fitness enthusiast has been arrested after he was caught with the sev£r£d h£ of his girlfriend.

Timileyin Ajayi was apprehended on Sunday, Jan. 12, near a church in Orozo, Abuja.

He was seen carrying a black nylon, with flies following him and the bag.

Ajayi, said to be from Kabba in Kogi state, was searched and a fresh hum@n h£ was seen in the bag.

While being questioned by police in a video shared online, Ajayi is seen dislosing that he had dated the lady for one year, before k!lling her....

Interested players should be between the ages of 18 - 25 years old, there shall be scholarships for those who are still in secondary schools.

Police Arrest Four Robbery Suspects, Recover Stolen Vehicle In Karu

Operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested four suspected armed robbers and recovered a stolen vehicle in Karu Local Government Area of the State.

The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel who confirmed the arrest in a statement on Sunday said that, “Salim Hussaini, Abdulkadir Musa, and Dimas Danja were arrested by operatives attached to the Mararaba ‘A’ Division, while another suspect, Mohammed Aliyu Abubakar, was nabbed in the New Karu area.”

According to the police spokesman, the suspects confessed to belonging to gang of armed robbers terrorising Mararaba and its environs.

Nansel added that a fabricated rifle, a knife, and criminal charms were recovered during the first operation, while a blue Toyota Camry with registration number RBC 980 DA was recovered from Abubakar, a resident of the Mabushi area of Abuja.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, has called on the owner of the stolen vehicle to visit New Karu Area Command with proof of ownership to claim the recovered vehicle,” the statement reads further.

A yet to be identified person has allegedly drugged his friend Dangana Madaki and escaped with his motorcycle at Saburi in the Gagwa ward of the Abuja Municipal Area council.
A member of the vigilante in the area identified as Samson said the incident happened on Sunday around 7:12 pm at a drinking joint in the area.
He said the suspect went to a drinking joint in the area after he invited the victim in which he said the suspect allegedly put a substance inside the victim 's wine.
He said the victim after a while dozed off and the suspect quitely removed the bike's keys from the victim 's pocket and zoomed off.
