4. Forgiveness: letting go and letting God!

I stated earlier that the premise upon which our anchor Scripture 2 Corinthians 2:11 is founded is around forgiveness. The preceding verse (2 Corinthians 2:10) speaks of forgiveness. The concept of demonic devices is built around the devil and demons taking advantage of unforgiveness. In my experience I have seen how much loss believers and unbelievers suffer on account of unforgiveness.

Unforgiveness is the most potent platform for the enterprise of demonic devices to flourish. Why is this so? This is because unforgiveness is the fertile hub for all demonic devices. Has it ever occurred to you that humanity would have been utterly hopeless if God did not forgive and Jesus too did not forgive on the cross? The Christian faith works because of forgiveness. Unforgiveness is a direct affront to the order of God. Anyone who does not forgive is giving the hordes of hell an open invitation into their space. I said earlier that forgiveness is not an option but a non-negotiable necessity.

When the devil takes advantage of unforgiveness he possesses the unbeliever and demonises the believer. I have seen unbelievers possessed by devils and believers demonised because of unforgiveness.

Pastor Adeboye Bans Braids and Heavy Makeup for RCCG Clergy

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has openly criticized clergymen who wear braided hair and clergywomen who use false eyelashes and heavy makeup. During the ministers meeting and preparation for the church’s annual convention, he announced that these trends among church workers would no longer be accepted.

"In Yorubaland, the only men who braid their hair are Sango priests, the god of thunder," Adeboye remarked. "Some say this is a new age, and we must adapt to modern trends, but not in this mission. Even after I’m gone, this will not be allowed."

He made it clear that any pastor, particularly female pastors, who appears overly made up like a Nollywood star would be removed from the altar. "You may not like it, but if you are my children, you can’t defy me. Real men don’t wear makeup because they believe God made no mistakes in their creation."

Adeboye further questioned the use of false nails, stating, "When you begin to fix false nails, I wonder what you are trying to achieve. If God wanted to make you a bird, He would have given you false nails and eyelashes."

He urged those who take pleasure in unconventional appearances to repent and embrace modesty. "You can quote me on this: If anyone questions why you are making these changes, tell them, 'Daddy GO said so,'" he concluded..

"What we call grave in this age is no longer duh, it is handled through the use of mobile phones and Internet devices"!
