DEBUNKING THE LIES OF EZEKIEL NOAH ADEYI
I saw a video of a guy called Ezekiel Noah Adeyi, where he claimed there was a scribe of the prophet called Abdullahi bn Sa'd bn Abee As-sarh who left Islam and he was the first ex-Muslim.
What Noah didn't know as usual (we have challenged him for a debate, he keeps running ) is that Abdullahi bn Sa'd bn Abee As-sarh eventually reverted to Islam and died upon Islam.
He was pressured by the Quraysh at the time who were ruling Makkah to fabricate lies against the prophet. He would say that he was the one dictating to the prophet the verses of the Qur'an!!.
On the day the Muslims returned back to their homes in makkah after being driven away, tortured and killed by the idolators of Makkah at the time, this is popularly called Fathu Makkah (The conquest of Makkah). The Prophet took the action of Abdullahi bn Sa'd bn Abee As-sarh (Noah wanted to form Islamic historian, he said his real name was Ibn Zayd!! Ogbeni, No!!) to be a reasonable offense and mutiny. He gave the command that whereever they found Abdullahi bn Sa'd bn Abee As-sarh, he should be made to face the ruling of his treason.
The information got to Abdullahi, He quickly went to Uthmān bn A'ffān who was his foster brother to plead to the prophet on his behalf. The prophet said "Alright " but he still wanted him to face the law.
He was eventually pardoned and practiced his Islam in the best of ways even when he could run away and denounce it.
Al-Imām Ibnu Abdilbarr recounted the story in his Al-Istī'āb 918/3 :
Abdullah bin Sa'd bin Abi Sarh had accepted Islam before the conquest, migrated, and used to write revelations for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Then he apostatized, became a polytheist, and went to the Quraish in Mecca, saying to them, "I used to lead Muhammad astray as I wanted; he would dictate to me 'Aziz, Hakim' and I would say 'Alim, Hakim' and he would say, 'Yes, it's all correct.'"
On the day of the conquest, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordered his ex*****on... but he fled to Uthman, who was his foster brother, and Uthman hid him until the people of Mecca had settled, then brought him to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Uthman pleaded for his pardon, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) remained silent for a long time, then said, "Yes."
When Uthman left, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to those around him, "I remained silent because I thought one of you would stand up and behead him." A man from the Ansar said, "Why didn't you signal me, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "A prophet does not have deceitful eyes."
Abdullah bin Sa'd bin Abi Sarh accepted Islam on the day of the conquest, and his Islam was good; nothing blameworthy was seen from him afterwards...
