A humble babe, saved from Pharaoh's wicked plan.

With a staff in hand and faith in his heart,
Moses faced the Pharaoh, ready to depart.
"Let my people go," he declared with might,
Guided by God's wisdom, shining so bright.

Through the desert they wandered, a nation set free,
Miracles unfolded, for all the world to see.
From the parting of the Red Sea, to manna from above,
Moses led his people with unwavering love.

He climbed Mount Sinai, where commandments were received,
A covenant with God, forever to be believed stone, a moral compass for all,
Moses shared divine wisdom, answering the call.

Teaching his people to seek a higher place.
He united tribes, forging a nation so strong,
A legacy of justice, that would forever belong.

So let us gather here, in this convocation grand,
To honor Moses, a leader of our land.
