The documents below are Compulsory (If you arrive in the NYSC camp with none of them, you will not be registered by the camp officials)

1. Final year ID card
You need to go with the original and two (2) photocopies. To get a ‘final year ID card’, go to the Directorate of Students’ Affairs in your school, and a request for one. NYSC also accepts School ID Card instead of final year ID card. But will not accept departmental ID card.

Besides that, persons who graduated from Polytechnic within Nigeria should go with both ND and HND statement of results.

Please, DO NOT laminate your call-up letter because NYSC will reject a laminated copy.

4. NYSC Green card
Please, do not forget your Green Card. Go with the original and four (4) photocopies. Green Card is the online print-out slip after NYSC online registration. Also, Do NOT laminate it!

Note: the Green Card and call-up letter are to be printed out in coloured.

5. Recent passport photograph
Please, go with eight (8) copies. The background colour should be white or off-white. Don’t listen to anyone that says you should go with over eight copies.

6. Medical Certificate of Fitness

7. Uploaded Documents
Foreign-trained graduates should go to the camp with the original of all documents they uploaded during online registration.

CAMP OT💯
8⃣ THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE NYSC CAMP THAT NOBODY IS TELLING YOU
1️⃣ Your luggage will be ransacked by soldiers while searching for forbidden items. So when arranging or packing your boxes know how to arrange them.
2️⃣ Queuing should become part of you. In camp, queue is the main thing. You queue-up for everything; to bath, to fetch water, to eat, to use toilet, to sign and other activities.
3️⃣ Don't over slimfit your khaki because when you wash it, it shrinks. And when too tight, it tears easily during Man O War drilling. Be careful!
4️⃣ SAED Lectures can be lengthy and boring, but if you have your friends close to you, you can talk or gist with them as time go. Because of large number of people, you may not be able to hear what is being said said in the lecture.
5️⃣ Respect the soldiers and NYSC officials if you don't want have a terrible experience. Also, do not be too friendly with them oo unless you wan't trouble, especially girls... so they may not ask you for that thing. Hope you understand what I mean?
6️⃣ Mosquito nets are quite useful as they can serve as a protective measure for your belongings. It can hide you from officers incase you want to hide but its not a good idea when caught. Also if you take the lower bunk the nets can prevent anyone from staying on your bed or stepping on it.
7️⃣ Expulsion is the punishment for those caught having s*x. So, decipline yourself. Train that cassava inbetween your legs.
8️⃣ NYSC will give you N500,000 cash or its equivalent if you get married to a fellow corper.
