5 things I wish I knew before diving into Embedded Systems. A thread: 🧵
1. Your code is useless if the hardware is unstable.
2. Always test power supply and grounding first.
3. Delays with delay() will ruin your project. Learn how to use Timers and Interrupts from the outset.
4. Never trust the datasheet blindly — test everything yourself.
5. An oscilloscope is more important than you think. Acquire one early.
