Prayer can never be a slayer of poverty. So, how then do we make money? You are either selling your time for money, which is what we call a job, or using your money to make more money, which is what we call investing. Those are the only two ways to make money constantly. Every other way of making money is just a variation of these two paths. However, the first way destroys your health, while the second way restores it. Therefore, if you want to thrive in this lifetime, don't see your salary as spending money. No matter how small your wages are, see them as capital. Use your capital to invest your way out of poverty, because it is almost impossible to work your way out of penury.

And everyone can get capital in this day and age. Please fact-check me: In the last four years, YouTube has paid creators $100 billion. X has paid tweeps $45 billion in the same four-year time span. In that same time, Meta has coughed up $10 billion to users of their app. TikTok's payout in that intervening period has been $7.5 billion. If you have a phone and access to the Internet, you have no business complaining about lack, joblessness or penury, no matter what country you are a citizen of, provided these apps are legal there. Monetise your life by uploading your creativity, and you will no longer be downloading poverty. Stop trolling so you can start pay-rolling!

We all have that one uncle who will always have your back when everybody else is coming for you. โค๏ธ

Growing up, this man was more than an uncle to me. He was my shield. My biggest believer.
When my father almost disowned me because I chose music, he stood up and said, โ€œLeave this boy alone. This is the superstar of the Adeleke family.โ€

Iโ€™ll never forget those moments.
Sometimes, he would come close and whisper, โ€œDavid, forget your father. If you need any money for your music, just call me. I got you.โ€

That kind of love is something money can never buy.
So how can I ever stop showing up for the man who showed up for me when my own dream was still just a dream?

And guess what?

They probably didn't plan much for you. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

If you don't decide what you want from your life, other people, circumstances, society, and even your employer may end up deciding it for you.

You wake up.

Go to work.

Pay bills.

Consume.

Repeat.

Years pass...

And one day you ask yourself:

โ€œIs this really the life I wanted?โ€ ๐Ÿ˜”

The problem isn't having a job or working for someone.

The problem is living without a destination.

Especially financially.

If you don't have a financial plan, your money will disappear into someone else's plans:

Remember:

A goal without a plan is just a wish.

Don't allow life to simply happen to you.

Design your future intentionally.

Build the skills.
Build the income.
Build the assets.
Build the relationships.
Build the character.

Because if you don't write the plan for your life, you may end up living inside someone else's plan
