British politician Kemi Badenoch has addressed questions about her nationality and identity, explaining in an interview with GB News why she “no longer identifies as Nigerian.”

The internet was sent into a frenzy after she opined that she no longer identities with Nigeria. Born in the UK and having spent part of her early years in Nigeria, Badenoch acknowledged her Nigerian roots but stated that she primarily sees herself as British.

“It wasn’t quite what I said. But it is true. My main identity is British. That is how I see myself.
Nigeria is a nationality, not an ethnicity. There’s no such language as Nigerian, there are many different ethnic groups there.
If you come to this country, you need to be very focused on integrating. If you’re a politician, you need to be 100 per cent focused on British issues.” She said

🚨🚨🚨 Influencer,sir Dickson raises N22M for young man’s leg surgery

Popular influencer on X, Sir Dickson raises N22M in 2 weeks for a young man, David Obadiah, a.k.a Baddy of LASU, to undergo a corrective leg surgery.

The young man who was born with bowlegs, a condition in which the knees stay apart even when standing with feet and ankles together, had recounted how he had undergone several surgeries in the past which failed to correct the condition.

Wizarab had organized a crowdfunding for the young man, receiving donations also from the prominent Afrobeats singer, Davido who gave 3 million Naira to the cause.

As at 5th August 2025, a total of 22 million Naira had been raised for the surgery.

Sir Dickson wrote …“In exactly 2 weeks, we have raised N22m. Some people still sent money last night. You all made it possible!!!

"We know the value of keeping cemeteries in good condition”-Zamfara Rep Kabiru Mai Palace renovates 80 cemeteries as a constituency project.

Kabiru Mai Palace, a member of the House of Rep, has renovated 80 cemeteries in Gusau and Tsafe local government areas of Zamfara state as a constituency project.

The lawmaker, who represents the Gusau/Tsafe federal constituency, said the initiative marked his second-year anniversary in office.He noted that many cemeteries across communities in the area were in poor condition and needed urgent rehabilitation.

Speaking during the project inauguration on Tuesday, Mai Palace emphasized the significance of maintaining cemeteries, calling them the final resting place for all.
He said the project aligns with Islamic teachings, which encourage the proper upkeep of burial grounds to prevent calamities in society.

He also pledged to engage guards, pay workers’ allowances, and provide tools to support cemetery maintenance.

It would be recalled that, Verydarkman had shared new information regarding the Mohbad demise saga. He had opined that a WhatsApp group was created by Iyabo Ojo, that contained Tonto Dikeh, Samklef and others.

Tonto Dikeh reacted to this by stating that she shall not be pulled into such matter.

“Verydarkman didn’t pay anyone ₦20 million for the group chat details”-Samklef voice out

In a recently shared video, Samklef debunked claims that Verydarkman paid ₦20 million to gain access to the leaked celebrity group chat allegedly connected to Mohbad’s death. According to him, the chat leak originated from a member of the group itself.

“Verydarkman didn’t pay anyone ₦20 million for the group chat details. The leak came from someone who was already inside the group,” Samklef clarified.

He also voiced his disappointment at what he perceives as a lack of recognition from the music industry and Mohbad’s family for his efforts in pursuing justice. He questioned why he should continue to fight publicly when even the singer’s father remains silent on the matter.

I don’t have any personal interest in this case. Why should I cry more than the bereaved?” he continued , lamenting the insults he has received despite his intentions. He also recalled that he refrained from challenging the judiciary after Naira Marley and Sam Larry were cleared of accusations, despite feeling isolated by the industry.

Samklef concluded by calling for an end to the ongoing conflicts, stressing that revenge would not bring peace to Mohbad’s soul, which he noted is still unsettled as the singer is yet to be laid to rest.

“Revenge won’t solve anything. Let’s all cease fire and stop fighting,” he urged.
