She will be speaking on a theme: Women in Publishing bearing her own experience and why Kwara has become a regular state of visit amongst many other issues.

Before Airpeace began flying Nigeria to London for around 500k for a one way flight, the cheapest you could get any airline to London was around 3 to 4 million Naira. Then Airpeace came and the tickets have been dropping drastically. The new strategy these foreign airlines have now adopted is to force Airpeace out of the market by dropping their airfare below Airpeace.

What we should all consider is that if we help these foreign airlines to succeed by patronizing them because of their lower rates, what will happen is that Airpeace will no longer be able to compete and they will eventually start exploiting us again. Nigerians are one of the most widely traveled anywhere in the world and Airpeace is our only hope against exploitation.

The Papyrus Africa team had an interview with His Excellency, the two term Governor of Imo State, former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Founder Rochas Foundation, Dr. Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha on the event of the Papyrus Magazine 200th edition celebration and 18th year Anniversary commemoration.

We choose to celebrate this milestone by telling our story via personalities who represent the core values and principles that have kept us over the years.
Sen. Rochas represents philanthropic works. We will tell the story of The Papyrus Foundation for Improved Literacy (PAMFIL) through what he has done with the Rochas Foundation which has housed over 30,000 students of Africa for free over the years. Keep a date with us on all our social handles....

It is with deep sadness and a personal sense of loss that we record the death of our Founding Patron, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Bukar Abba Ibrahim OFR, F

Sen Bukar Abba Ibrahim was a passionate and tireless champion of good governance, he prayed daily to see a better Nigeria reason he contested to be president twice.

He stressed the importance of improving the life of Nigerians, especially the poor as a means to sustain democracy and better the country -Nigeria.

He supported any dream that would improve the well being of Nigeria and add to the development of the country.

His heart beats for the needy, he will do anything to see that almost everyone that comes to him, go with their needs met if it were within his power to do so. He would write names of people that monies will be transferred to on a daily basis in tens of thousands running into millions.

He was passionate about the development of people. When we contacted him to become our Grand and Founding Patron; he accepted only because of our vision. He stood with us all through the over 14 years of knowing him and He would always support our events and attend all until his health couldn't permit it. Surely, we have lost a Great Patriotic Nigeria and for us at the Papyrus Magazine, we May Cry forever.
