Speaks on the creation of Additional state for south East .
.. In 2014 CONFAB which I attended with 491 delegates , it was unanimously agreed that south east Will get one additional state before a demand for extra states from other parts of the country .
..... What the Senate and Reps joint committee did was another confirmation of the justice of the matter .
....The proposal was for 55 additional state and now south east has been considered for an extra state does not mean that South East Wil not get extra states in the 54 states yet to be created . The additional state for south East makes the region equal to others except north west that has 7 states.
....It's not just a political demand but a constitutional necessity . From 2014 CONFAB to 2025 is 11 years which is not easy for south East to get the national consensus .
What Next ?
....Another committee was set to look into it for 3 weeks. Then it comes to national Assembly for voting which requires 2/3 majority.
...From national Assembly,it moves to the state assemblies where 2/3' requirement is needed ( 24 states)
.....From legislators approval ,we go the south East to find where the state will be .
Benefits to south east .
...With 95 LG's in South East,we have the least numbers .With an extra state ,we will have more LG's and more Revenues for the development of south east .
...In major political decisions like political primaries election,south east will have more delegates .
...In federal appointments ,south East Wil have more appointments .More in Agencies .
