Look! I see a woman who is stronger than she thinks.

I see the battles you’ve fought when no one else knew, the silent prayers you’ve whispered in the midnight hours, and the way you’ve kept walking even when the road felt endless.

You may feel worn, unseen, or unsure if you can face another day but God sees you differently.
“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.” (Psalm 28:7)

Your strength isn’t just in what you’ve survived, it’s in the grace that carries you daily.
You are not defined by your scars, but by the Savior who heals them.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

Sis, keep your head high. Heaven already calls you victorious.

Standing in the Gap through Prayer

You’ll never understand the true weight of poverty until a simple matchbox finishes… and there’s no electricity… right in the middle of preparing your children for school.

No hot water. No ironed uniforms. No tea. Just darkness and the overwhelming feeling of helplessness as a parent trying to do your best with so little.

But in that moment, something beautiful happened.
A knock on the door.
A neighbor light in hand.
No words, just help.

That morning, I realized: Poverty is not just a lack of money. It’s the absence of options.
And in such moments, the power of community shines the brightest.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

We often underestimate how life-saving a good neighbor can be.
How powerful a shared matchbox, a cup of sugar, or simply presence can be.

This isn’t just about hardship. It’s about hope.
About realizing that we are not meant to survive alone.
About becoming that neighbor someone else is praying for.

Lesson?
1 Don’t despise small things (Zechariah 4:10)
2. Don’t overlook those struggling silently beside you
3 And never forget: when God seems silent, He often shows up through people

May we always be the kind of neighbors that carry matches, not just for ourselves but for others lost in the dark

Just so you know how wonderful God has been to me!

He ordered someone to climb the coconut tree just to get me some fresh coconuts when I arrived.
He knew how much we’d missed the natural home foods and fruits. He remembered the little things. He cared deeply.

Through God’s grace, this man accepted me into his family without hesitation. No conditions. No questions. Just love.

He didn’t just love his son,he loved him with every fiber of his being. That’s why he stood behind him, beside him, and before him in all ramifications. A father in every true sense of the word. A covering. A blessing.

I’ve missed him. I have.
And today, my heart is full.

To every young woman and man out there: put God first. Let Him be your beginning and your end when it comes to relationships. When you place Him at the center, He brings people into your life that love beyond reason and receive you as family without a second thought.

Some things can’t be explained, only experienced.

I pray today that God continues to rest his soul in His bosom.
May his memory always be a blessing.
May his legacy live through the ones he loved.

“The memory of the righteous is blessed.” Proverbs 10:7
“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.” Proverbs 13:22

Thank you for everything, Sir, as you were fondly called.
You were more than words could ever express.
