We Have Been Sold Out.
My people, how long will we continue to bury our brothers, our sisters, our children?
How many more mass graves must we dig before our pain is acknowledged?
What is happening in Benue State is not just a tragedy it is a betrayal.
Our land has been turned into a battlefield, our farms into burial grounds, and our homes into ashes. And yet, the people we trusted to speak for us the ones we voted for, campaigned for, prayed for have gone silent.
They sit in the comfort of high offices, guarded and fed, while we die in silence.
What kind of leadership watches blood flow like water and does not raise a voice?
What kind of leader sees children orphaned, women widowed, entire communities wiped out and still goes to bed in peace?
The truth is bitter, but it must be said: we have been sold out.
Sold to silence.
Sold to fear.
Sold to herdsmen.
But we are not fools. We see the pattern. We see the agenda. And we will not be quiet anymore.
This is not about tribe, this is not about politics this is about human lives.
About justice.
About survival.
If those in power will not speak, we will.
If they will not act, we will rise.
Benue will not bleed in vain.
We demand protection.
We demand justice.
And we demand it now.
