A child came 1st in class with 52%… and his mum was celebrating loudly.
Meanwhile, the daughter of the same woman in another class scored 79% but took 10th position.

Yes… the one who came 1st.
I watched the other child quietly holding the report card, almost looking ashamed.
But the truth is this:
79% means the child understood far more of the work.
Position only shows how you ranked in a particular class,
but average shows what you actually know.
Sometimes a child can come 1st in a weak class.
Another child can come 10th in a very strong class.
Dear parents,
please look beyond position.
Ask questions like:
• Is my child improving?
• What is the average score?
• Where does the child need help?
Because in real life, it is knowledge that wins — not position.
