🔵Tinubu (2023–Present) — 9 days
Buhari saw 21 months of strikes during his eight-year tenure. This is the highest total recorded since the return to democracy in 1999.
President Tinubu has seen only 9 days of nationwide strike action as of March 2026.
While universities were shut for over two months every year under the last administration, that loss has dropped to roughly three days per year.
