She looked at the doctor surprised of what he had told her “someone had already paid for my treatment “ who could it be ..was it the taxi driver that hit me ; she thought to herself or was it aunt .. but Noo aunt doesn’t know am here oh that reminds me I need to get back home aunt needs me;am sorry who please ? I asked the doctor,who what?;he asked unsure of what I meant .who paid for my treatment?,oh it was the man who knocked you off ..oh ;I said slightly I guessed right .. am okay now tho please I need to go back home now;I said pretending to be fine I need to be discharged now please ;I tell the doctor..I quickly got up from the bed but fell down back to the bed arrgh…I winced in pain while holding my left arm ..mama are you okay the doctor and other nurse ran towards me ; you can’t be discharged yet ,your left arm was broken due to the accident.you’re gonna need sometime to heal so please cooperate with us until your x ray is out then I’ll know if you can go home or stay a little while here;the doctor said putting me gently on the bed ..if you need anything a nurse would be here to attend to you so please take a rest hmm ;he said leaving….

I hope she’s alright; I said restless ..come to think of it what was she doin under the rain at that hour and why ? ..shortly the doctor came interrupting my thoughts.how is she;I asked curiously..well she’s stable ..ahh thank heavens ;I said heaving a sigh of relief ..however she broke her left arm and would need sometime to heal;the doctor said.but she would be fine right?;I asked .of course ,but there is a problem ..;the doctor added ,a problem ? What exactly do you mean doctor;I asked him curious ..she has several scars which was of course not due to the accident but due to what I assume is called domestic violence and abuse ;the doctor said looking at me .wait …you mean you think she’s been beaten by someone ..maybe she uhmm..stole som..or I don’t know her from anywhere she just ran into my car and I mistakenly knocked her off …I think otherwise,I think she has a family because as soon as she woke up she said she wanted to go back to her aunt that her aunt needed her .. I could see the eager of death in her eyes but at the same time the fear and pain;I thought to myself and she was holding some vegetables cold it be that her aunt threw to the cold night and heavy storm unbelievable but what if her parents how can they just sit and watch there daughter or wait are they de…sir if you may excuse me I’ll get her cray done the doctor said interrupting my questionable thought ..oh okay ..;I said.

I walked through the hall way in the hospital..I stopped in front of her door ..should I go in ?;I hesitated what if she’s asleep ..anyways I gently pushed the door slowly before heading inside I went closer to where she was lying down helplessly..she was asleep I sat down close to her and a thought came to me should I check her body for the marks ..no..no that would be weird but..I got up and went close to her I touched her hand and she flinched quickly jumped back to my seat and began whistling hmm..I cleared my throat.she was still sleeping thank God ..shortly after nurse came in ..good day sir ; she greeted good day ;I tell her. Is time for her to take her drugs so I need to wake her ;she tells me , oh sure; I tell her . The nurse tapped her a little,ma’am is time to take your pills she slowly opened her heavy eyes she moaned gently in tiredness ,I need to go home please ;she said lightly, you will dear but right after you become stable ;the nurse tell her,I am stable ;she lied .if the maltreat her why does she wants to still go home nah..am not sure that’s the case but how did she get does scars tho??..

As I opened my weak eyes I saw two people standing close to me the first one was a woman in blue clothen it’s the nurse ..but the other one was not wearing a uniform who is he he was very tall who is he ??;I thought to myself, miss here the nurse said handling the pills and class of water to me ;thank you ;I tell her okay please excuse me ; she said leaving me and the man alone…
The silence was becoming awkward what did he want ?,who is he ?? ..I asked mysel I wanted to look at him but no that would be weird .. why were you running in the rain?;he asked ..oh his the one who knocked me off instead of apologizing this is what he has to tell me …I looked at him and realized he was also looking at me I quickly took my eyes away ..I gave him no answer he breath out heavily before saying how are you feeling??..what do you expect am in pain because of you ;I tell him angrily..well you shouldn’t have run on the road like that ;he said ..is he been serious right now … why would you be driving in the rain like that ;I tell him half angrily,he looked at me without saying anything..look I don’t know who you’re but you should be at least grateful if it was some one else they might leave you on the road for you to die but I brought you to the hospital;he said which made me fill attacked Yh ..I guess his right tho .. thank you ;I tell him, he looked at me before nodding his head ..it’s been two days now and nobody has come to look for you how about you call them;he said ..uhmm that won’t be necessary I’ll just ..why?;he asked cutting me short if my words every parent or guardian should be worried about their child or ward right??he said looking at me ..gosh what his problem…here ;he said handing his phone to me I quietly collected it an took a deep breath before dialing aunts line .. it rang fir a few second before she picked it up hello;she said . Hello aunt …I said looking at him ,he quietly left the room .. it’s me Yennefer ;I tell her, oh Gid useless girl I thought you ran away..do you know how w you made my daughters get that vegetables by themselves after every thing I did for you ..she said yelling..I clenched my teeth together..am sorry I..I got into a car accident and broke my left arm that’s why I wasn’t able to come home or call you am sorry;I tell her..am sorry you broke your left arm?; she asked ,yes aunt ..it was your arm you broke not your leg get up and start coming home;she said yelling .the doctor refused to discharge me ..I tell her.. give me the address ;she said AD146 Alvin Dee cooperation ; I tell her .,wait are you talking about the biggest hospital in California;she said with a change in her voice how do you expect me to pay that are you stupid or you’re just dumb I swear if it cost more than I wish to pay I’ll sell you stupid girl!!!;she said angrily and ended the call .. he must be rich then I didn’t even know this was the biggest hospital in California..aunt wasn’t even worried ..shortly he came back in ;he collected his phone from me ..am sure she was worried;he asked .. unmm…ye..yes;I said stammering.you should take a rest he said leaving uhmm.. sir ;I called .. hmm ;he said turning to face me ..thank you I promise to repay you soon ;I tell him knowing fully well I had no money on me ..he looked at me for a second ..he scoffed..sure I’ll be waiting for the repay he said with a smirk before leaving …

Ahh.. pay me back ..it’s not like she can afford it but anyways I’ll wait for her to pay me back..where’s my daughter ..a woman came crying her heart and yelling over the place ..ma’am please calm down ;the nurses said she was with to young ladies behind her who were trying to console her ..ma’am please we need to know who your daughter is first before we can tell you her condition but please do calm down .. Her name is…Yenneffer Yatra she’s in room 26 ..wait room 26 that the ladies room cold that be her mom …….
