“Rejection will hurt you. Don't let it make you believe that you aren't worth it.”
Whether it occurs in a personal relationship, at work, or in social settings, rejection is a painful experience. When we feel rejected, it affects our self-esteem and self-confidence, causing us to doubt ourselves and question our self-worth. At times, it may feel like the end of a dream, relationship, or important chapter in our lives.
However, with time, we often realize that there is always a better reason for things happening, even if the experience is not pleasant.
Accept rejection with grace. Have a conversation, but do not plead. Learn from your experiences, improve yourself, and remain hopeful. Even if you don’t have the person you want, the job you desire, or the company you want to be with, you are still worthy. Once you find the right people and the right place, you will never question your self-worth.
