There is no amount of campaign you do that will change the current structure of things in the next election โ Apostle Arome Osayi tells Obedients, Atikulates, Kwankwasiyyas, others
Apostle Arome Osayi has warned that campaigning and votersโ cards may not be enough to change Nigeriaโs situation in the next election, insisting that the nation needs healing before meaningful change can occur.
Speaking about the countryโs current state, Osayi said those campaigning ahead of the next election were focusing on the wrong things and trusting the wrong people.
โI know most of you are campaigning. There is no amount of campaign you do that will change the current structure of things in the next election. You are campaigning. No amount. Your voterโs card will not change anything,โ he said.
According to him, the problem goes beyond elections, as he described Nigeria as a nation that is deeply unwell and in need of divine intervention.
โThe land is sick. If itโs not healed, there can be no change. You are looking at the wrong things, trusting the wrong people. We are a joke. We are a big joke,โ he stated.
The apostle further declared that the country was currently experiencing what he described as the day of judgment,warning that both politicians and preachers could face severe consequences in the coming years.
โRight now, this is the day of judgment. Many will be cut off, politicians and preachers will be cut off in the next five years. Young and old, I am not talking about old, young and old, cut off,โ Osayi said.
He added that even if God chooses to show mercy to the nation, such mercy could come through judgment.
โThat is if God decides to have mercy, the way the mercy will manifest will be in form of judgments,โ he said, before asking Nigerians to seek divine mercy for the country.
