I entered Kano in August 2021 for NYSC, did my compulsory 3 weeks orientation camp and came out of camp on a tuesday and on Saturday of that week we stepped out for our church weekly evangelism with my pastor, my first time meeting everyone in the church team, on heading out to the streets pastor was pairing people for the evangelism that day and coincidentally he paired me to go with this beautiful lady, it was weired but we had to go preach together and while on the evangelism we got to chat in between and talk about different things, she telling me about Kano town and her experiences as a copper in Delta state but later had toredeploy back to Kano where she stays with her parent due to COVID-19.
Long story short, we won souls for Jesus together that day and exchange contact after the evangelism, from then we kept meeting in Church and chatting here and there. sometimes in 2022 I had an idea of starting a YouTube channel and guess what? this my beautiful evangelism partner was the person I talked to if she has any idea on how to go about it and excitedly she offered with few insights being that she has had ideas about social media and video editing as at that time and she offered to help me out with video shooting in her then place of work which had a beautiful ambiance, I will go every week and shoot videos and she will help with editing, that's how friendship started ooo and it continued, just friendship nothing attached, infact she was helping me to get a babe then and was providing me with tips on how to get a particular lady was was interested in as at that time hahahaha and she was also in a relationship as at then and she will share about her then relationship and we will gist about it and I will provide counsel here and there when necessary. small small me her con turn like brother and sister ooo, small small we con de like each other's company, plenty things in between sha I couldn't get into a relationship and it was a concern to her but as God will have it small time anty con de tell me say she don de loose peace about that her relationship, I asked her why and provided my good brotherly counsel to help her with her relationship, but peace still refuse come back, las, last, she ended the relationship it wasn't easy but she did and I was there encouraging her that so long as it's your heart you are following to end the relationship God definitely has something better for you no matter how good this one looks like.
fast forward 2024 I notice I began liking to be with her more than usual, I begin to hear in my heart! Denis you like this girl, I will tell myself NO! but I will wake up after morning prayers she will be the next person I want to talk and tease and joke with as usual, sometimes I will fight the temptation to call her early in the morning and sometimes i will yield to the temptation hahaha.
like play, like play the likeness continued oo, sometimes I will say God help me not to fall for this girl, but the thing kept increasing in my heart. finally I met my pastor spoke to him about it he gave his counsel and after long procedures I finally asked her out and guess what??? after small shakara she said actually " the feeling is mutual" hahaha
Long story short, I definitely know she is not perfect just as I am not perfect but I can tell her heart is pure. First thing that I love more about her is her kind heart, she can sacrifice anything within her power for others, she believes in me like kilode, she is my friend and often we can both be vulnerable with each other and still be secured.
This beautiful lady here is who I have chosen! thank you baby for all you do for our friendship, thank you for believing in me even in times I least believe in myself, thank you for honouring me, thank you for loving me and most of all thank you for being You.
