Kwekwe karakara kojokojo

I just started running this page not even up to a week, and I’ve already seen more than 20 videos of people teaching Facebook monetization.

And if you’ve known me for a while, you know one thing about me.

I don’t hype things blindly. I say things the way they are, and I explain the reason behind them.

So let me say this clearly.

If you’re in Nigeria and you’re trying to make a living as a content creator on Facebook, please pause.

Don’t overthink it. Use that same energy to position your business or your skill on Facebook. That will pay you far better.

Here’s the honest truth.

Facebook does not pay Nigerian creators well.

On average, Facebook pays Nigerians around $0.01 to $0.03 per 1,000 views.

Let me break it down so it makes sense.

If you get about 5,000 views on a video, that’s roughly $0.05 to $0.15 per video.

Let me even be generous and say $0.15.

If you post one video every single day for one month, that’s about $4.50 total.

Now convert that to naira and ask yourself honestly, can this feed you, pay rent, or cover bills?

And that’s not even the full problem.

✅️There are music restrictions.
Copyright issues.
✅️Artists taking a share of your tiny earnings just because you used their sound.
✅️Algorithm changes that suddenly kill your reach.
✅️Monetization features getting limited or removed without warning.

Too much stress for too little money.

This is why I always say this.

Content creation should be a side hustle, especially when you’re just starting.

Please don’t quit your job or main hustle to focus on it full time. You’ll regret it.

Some people will tell you to open a foreign account.

What they won’t tell you is how risky it is.
They won’t tell you how hard payment processing can be.
They won’t tell you how easily those accounts get restricted or shut down.
And let me clear this one too.

Those big Nigerian content creators you see online are not living large because of Facebook money alone.

Mark Zuckerberg is not solely funding their lifestyle.

Brand deals are.
Influencing is.
Selling products and services is.

That’s also why you see many creators promoting anything, even bétting companies, just to make money. Not because they enjoy it, but because Facebook money alone cannot sustain them.

So please, don’t let anyone deceive you.

You already have what it takes to make real money on Facebook.

And that thing is your skill.

Instead of making videos that drain you or reduce your value, talk about what you know.

Teach what you do.

Share your experience.

If you’re a designer, show your designs and explain your process.

If you’re in tech, break things down in simple terms.

If you sell food or bake, show your process and customer results.

If you write, talk about writing, CVs, content, or storytelling.

If you market businesses, teach visibility and growth.

People pay for value.
People pay for clarity.
People pay for skills.

You don’t need to go viral to make money.
You just need the right people to see you and trust you.

If this post made sense to you, please share it.
Someone out there needs to hear this truth.
And follow me for more honest conversations about skills, tech, and making real money online.
