Yesterday at the inquest into the death of Mohbad, Wunmi the late singers widow was allegedly questioned for over 5 hours.

A summary of her testimony 👇👇

followed Mohbad to the Ikorodu show with our son, Liam. Primeboy was also with us in the same car. We got there at about 7pm and Mohbad performed at 9pm. I sat in the car with Liam. When Mohbad finished his performance, he wanted to enter the car when his fans surrounded him and started screaming his name. He brought out N100,000 and gave them.Still the fans did not let him be so he told someone to call a bouncer to disperse them. Before the bouncer came, he entered the car with primeboy. I sat down in their middle. When the fans were still complaining they wanted more money, Mohbad sent his younger brother to go break down some cash so he could give them but he took so long before he came back. This made Prime boy furious and he scolded Mohbad's brother and that one insulted him back. Primeboy now turned to Mohbad and said your brother is insulting me in your presence and you are not saying anything. I can never allow my own younger brother to insult you. This led to a big argument between

Prime boy and Mohbad. Along the line, Prime boy said 'Mohbad shut up'. That statement infuriated Mohbad, he came out of the car, went to Prime boy's side and opened the door. When Mohbad got out of the car, I also got down to call the other guys that followed us who were in the second prado so they could settle the fight. By the time I got back, I saw some crowd already trying to intervene between them and I saw a wound in his hand. They told me he punched the glass window of the prado.....

After the incident at the show, we went home. When we got home, I was mad at Mohbad over how he behaved at the show so I went to my room. Mohbad came to my

room to beg me and he explained that he didn't like how Primeboy talked at him. We settled it and I asked him if the hand was not hurting him too much and he showed me the wound which was just like a scratch. I applied Robb on it. After this, we had a little fight, which was like an argument. Mohbad asked me about the update on me and Liam's passport and I told him that the person processing the passport has not finished it. He got so mad and started blaming me for the delay. The following day, his hand had become so swollen so we decided to call a nurse.

Mohbad's personal nurse was not available so
Ayobami who was Mohbad's friend decided to call his own nurse, Feyi. When Feyi came, she first checked his temperature and she examined the hand. As she was treating him, I was on and off the scene because

I was cooking in the kitchen. I was there when she gave the first injection but when she gave the second injection, I was in the kitchen. After some minutes, Mohbad told the nurse to remove the drip she put on him because he wasn't feeling good. He ran to the bathroom and we poured water on him. Then he started vomiting. His mechanic was outside, repairing his car. I quickly rushed to the mechanic outside to ask him if we could use the car to take Mohbad to the hospital. The mechanic said the car was not fit to go out. I started screaming for help outside, then someone offered to take him to the hospital.....

This man was found this morning having multiple convulsions in his room in a state somewhere in Southern Nigeria. Iya Mohbad said her son bought 2 Standard Refrigerators & a Generator set for her. He rented 3 shops for her. He was planning to give her 5MILLION 💰 naira next* week to stock the 3 shops. Naira Marley owes him N~300M in song royalties😳On my X Spaces I mentioned the top 3 songwriters in Nigeria as Tiwa, Teni and the third person is actually Mohbad. Mohbad wrote almost 97% of all the songs at Marlian music.

Songwriters get royalties and I mentioned as an example when I was a Canadian 🇨🇦Grammy Judge .

Mohbad complained that Naira Marley was holding his royalties and streaming revenues as well as downloads. They pretty much had a BAD BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP. Artist developers are needed in Nigeria. Remove the drugs and cultism and the industry will be super global. As you can see Davido came to represent the brotherhood despite the fact that I warned him not to step in Nigeria. Only the intelligent can understand that part. Nobody speaks against the brotherhood. Most music industry label bosses and the ones at the top have largely been silent. They are all affiliated with the same cult. They can’t speak against Naira Marley.

My suggestion as Mohbad’s estate hits one Billion Naira in days to come is a court appointed probate lawyer to take over his music assets assuming Naira Marley releases the funds. It will be a bitter court fight. He should have taken this to court a long time but people like Zlatan and Bella Shmurda told him to “hang in there.” These devil sent frenemies could have helped him. It’s like a woman being beaten by the husband and relatives tell her to stay in the bad relationship. The toxicity will finally kill you. Drug abuse, hypertension, alcohol etc developed. JUST THINKING OUT LOUD - MOHBAD, "SORRY"

As a parent whose son is into secular music, I chose to take my time to really understand what is happening regarding Mohbad's death and it's so painful that majority of us only listen to beats and sounds in music but never pay attention to the lyrics.

Lyrics is what makes the music not just the sound and the beat. Those are just supporting team.

However, I listen to another version of his songs this morning title "Sorry" where he narrated the stories surrounding his life, saying...

"This kind life e tire me
Daddy no get salary
Ten years I no see mummy
Step mother no care
Landlord e dey worry
My brothers are hungry
Daddy gather money make I go poly
I go poly but I no go class daddy I am sorry"

The first part of the song talked about the hardship his parents are facing, the maltreatment of his step mother, the landlord threats, his brothers staying all days without food.

Trust me, all these are more than enough for anyone to be mislead and get involved in anything just to change the cause of their lives and that was exactly what Mohbad did.

In the second verse of the Lyrics, he went on to say that...

"I don dey do Yahoo
I don dey chop banku
Omo pastor ti wonu aye"

He just made it clear that even though he is a Pastor's son; all that is no longer matter as he had decided to be part of anything that can bring in money and eradicate poverty out of his family.

The third version of the lyrics hit hard on his parents and their failure as parents; saying

Only thing I fit do

Some parents are nothing but total disgrace to humanity. And if you are a parent and you cannot pay closer attention to your children and be sure of the kind of friends they keep and the things they do, then you are nothing but a disgrace.

Praying for your children is never enough, wisdom demands that you get fully involves in their lives and be sure of what they are doing that requires your prayers, so that you don't end up praying for them doing the wrong things.

The last part of the song talks about he giving up on life and his total confusion of what life has in stock for him, saying...

A confusing state of mind is a dead zone, a place of delusional and depression. A state where all the wrong things seems right even when you are so sure that whatever is flying through your mind is never the right thing.

I'd heard both parents talking about he giving them money, they'd never talked about he telling them or discussing with them of his challenges, fears, plans and future; that speaks volumes.

I'm sorry to say this, but his lyrics on this song, speaks more of his parents failing him big time. And if you are a parent, please pay attention to your children and be their closest friend.

Not all the children have the mental capacity to say No to what they believe is not right for them. Some are strong enough to walk away from anything and anyone they considered unhealthy to their wellbeing. Some don't know how to.

Either way, parents, pay attention to your children, question their source of income and find out what the plans regarding their life is. It's important.
