The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has released the list of approved private Hajj and Umrah operators for the 2026 season. Here are the details:

Approved Operators:

- A total of 140 tour operators have been approved to conduct the 2026 Hajj and Umrah
- The list was released after a thorough screening and appeal process
- The approved operators are expected to uphold the highest standards of service delivery in line with NAHCON's regulatory guidelines

NAHCON commenced a nationwide verification exercise for private tour operators in October 2025
- The exercise aimed to ensure only credible, financially capable, and operationally prepared companies are granted licenses
- The verification process involved inspecting facilities, documentation, staffing, and compliance with operational guidelines
