IGBO AGBOIN COMMUNITY: A TESTAMENT TO RESPONSIVE AND PEOPLE-CENTRED REPRESENTATION
Leadership is not only about making promises; it is about listening to the people, responding to their needs, and taking actions when it matters most.
When the Igbo Agboin Community reached out to the office of the Honourable Member representing Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji AlaoAkala, with a request for assistance in repairing their faulty transformer, they were simply seeking the intervention of a representative they trusted.
Ordinarily, a request of this nature might take days to receive attention, especially with the administrative demands that often come with public office.
But with Ojuoloore, responsiveness is not a slogan; it is a responsibility.
Upon receiving the community’s request, Hon. AlaoAkala immediately swung into action. He sent his representatives to inspect the faulty transformer, engage directly with members of the Igbo Agboin Community, and assess the situation firsthand.
Following the assessment, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji AlaoAkala donated ONE MILLION NAIRA (₦1,000,000) to the Igbo Agboin Community towards the repair of their transformer, with the aim of restoring electricity and easing the burden on residents.
It is yet another testament to Hon. AlaoAkala’s commitment to effective representation and his determination to remain accessible and responsive to the people he represents.
For Ojuoloore, the people are not distant constituents; they are the reason for the representation.
This is leadership that listens.
This is representation that responds.
This is OJUOLOORE.
Thank you, OJUOLOORE!
