Nigeria fought hard but failed to secure a. Wun against Tunisia in their first match at the ongoing 2026 African Senior Women's Volleyball Nations Championship in Kenya.

The West African giants took the first set 25-18 but fell in the second, third and fourth sets (23-25, 20-25, 20-25).

Nigeria will face Ghana Volleyball Federation in their second match on Wednesday, August 26 by 3pm.
