The essence of womanhood can never be over emphasized because of the vital role a woman plays in the society. Over the years, issues that concerns the woman have been given due priority both locally and globally. One can say it is true that global concern about the woman has soared with many advocacies and resolutions being spearheaded by stakeholders from powerful nations. Resolutions and agenda meant to accelerate the development of womanhood and protect her from discrimination, oppression and dehumanization have been chronicled by rights bodies and government. Even with all these in place, much still needs to be done in channeling the course of a woman. And although there have been many publications that promote the course of womanhood, there is still need for more voices to lend credence to issues of women and the girl-child. This is what SheWorld is all about, as we promote the essence of real woman by show casing her abilities, sharing in her myriad of challenges, encouraging her enabling strength, giving voice to the voiceless and celebrating her aspirations, triumphs and self-worth.
