Life is very unpredictable!
About 2 weeks ago I went to the hospital to get my chest checked out, been having some pains around it and hubby said I should come and get it checked out. While I was waiting to see the Doctor,a woman walks in with her kids (3 boys) and the only boy that was well was her last child. The other 2 were obviously sick. One had cannula inserted in his hands and the other one looked so pale!
I didn’t even know that Next week was my own turn!
The exact state I saw those kids was exactly what came to me! It started with the first one last week and this week the second followed suit!
You see malaria? Nothing causes ill health in this country the way it does!
You can have mild cases which you treat immediately and it clears but when the ogbonge one mean you eh? You will surely run from pillar to post because the ogbonge one does not move alone! You will treat nothing less than 2 things atleast! And for the 2 boys? Na double the trouble!
All these because we slacked on bringing down their Nets during the Christmas period!
See if you have kids especially AA children, Use mosquito nets and decorate your house if you want peace of mind!
This period took me back 5years ago when we ran from pillar to post because we were not yet aware of the importance of mosquito nets!

I can’t even remember the last time I had a sick child that missed school because he was so sick. If I can remember correctly it’s more than 4years then Boom! Fever/loss of appetite.
A lot of things he used to do around the house his younger one had to even step up. But you know what I observed? You see siblings love, it’s very beautiful. The way his immediate younger one rushes to serve him water or get anything he ask of him is just pure love!
The truth is;the one that is sick is the one that is so caring that he will so take care of you when you are sick that even you the parent will be wondering “How I take born pikin wey care so much”?
But to watch his younger brother do the same for him this period is so heart warming💙
Moments like this show you that as a parent you are trying and raising children in love
