LISTEN UP! (Part 1).
There is no such thing as a free and fair election in anywhere in the world, not even in the so-called "Great" America that you're all dreaming of. Uncle Fela was right, it's all just a "Demo-Crazy."
Governance is all about negotiations, alliances, and consensus, and every country has its "cabal" a powerful group of individuals who call the shots for citizens. The president, king, or counselors are just puppets, carrying out the orders of the cabal.
You might think that Western countries are exempt from this, but think again! The media might make it seem like they're all about democracy, but that's just propaganda. The truth is that the same cabals are behind the scenes, pulling the strings and making the big decisions.
But let's talk about Nigeria, my home. Our elites are some of the most wicked and heartless individuals out there. They care less about the common people, and the gap between us is wider than the Grand Canyon. The sad thing is that most Nigerians don't realize that the politicians aren't the ones dividing us - it's the elites! They're the ones who are really in control, and they're the ones who benefit vastly from the national cakes.
I haven't gotten started on the issue of corruption!
When politicians take office, they're immediately bombarded with lists and names by the elites, who lobby for contracts. If they're lucky enough to get the contracts, they'll take the money and run without doing any of the work. It's a fact, this is what's holding Nigeria back, and until we deal with the elites, we won't move forward.
