TEXT FROM LUKE 2:11-14
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

INSPIRATION
Never forget that the message of the Lord is one of peace. So that spreading its word involves no malice. Never forget that the message of the Lord is one of goodwill, so its consequences should never lead to hatred or hurt.

PRAYER
Peace and goodwill to all who hears and sings thy psalms O Lord God! For those who do not, for where there is strife and fear, send tranquility and restitution. For where there is confusion and hatred, send order and accord. Do this, so that these people may hear your message Lord, and partake in your mercy, and in doing so, show it too one another. Amen.

If you are privileged enough to become wealthy – or even just financially stable – let a sum of your money be dedicated to the things of God. This doesn't necessarily have to be in the form of offering – but it is good to support your local church with money. You can use your money to help the less fortunate – that is godly. Don't let having money cause stinginess in your heart; be willing to give.

prayer
Dear God, I pray that I will always use my wealth for good and not for my selfish desires. Lord, may I always be attentive to those who are in need and also the needs of my church. I desire to be of help to anyone who comes my way, and if I can use my money to do so too, I will. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Inspiration
When we fix our minds of the goodness of God, it enables us to rise above the afflictions and the troubles we may face. Whenever he was in times of great trouble, Paul resorted to praising God, and in that praise, he found strength. Praise brings about joy, and the joy of the Lord, Jesus Christ, is our strength.

Prayer
Dear God, there are times where I may feel weak or I feel that I may not be able to carry on. But whenever I choose to dwell on your goodness and who you are, Lord, my heart is glad. I find strength when I think of your faithfulness, Father, and I ask that you will continue to encourage me when times get tough. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Inspiration
Our mouths may be filled with all sorts; idle chatter, gossip, news, profanities or slander. Yet it would be best of all to fill it with praise and love. God gave us our voices to not only communicate, but to choose our words wisely. Don't use it to injure or babble, but to spread his gospel and praise.

Prayer
Lord Almighty I exalt your name on earth as in Heaven. Grant me the wisdom and the will to spread your name and deeds, to use my voice for beauty and truth rather than lies and disparagement. Grant me this Lord, in your holy name I pray, Amen.
