One day, I was hungry.
Not “I haven’t eaten today” kind of hungry…
But the kind of hunger where your body is weak, but your pride is stronger.

That day, someone asked me, “Have you eaten?”
I smiled and said, “Yes, I’m okay.”
But deep down, my stomach was empty, and my pocket was emptier.

I remember holding my phone, thinking,
“This thing is smart, but I’m still broke.”
That was the day I told myself:
“Never again.”

I didn’t have capital.
I didn’t have connections.
But I had a phone…
And I had desperation.

So I stopped scrolling aimlessly.
I stopped comparing.
I started learning.
And eventually, I started earning.

Now? I don’t beg.
I don’t borrow.
I don’t fake fine.

And I don’t want any other lady to go through what I went through.

You’ve scrolled long enough.
Now it’s time to earn. 💻✨

I picked up my phone to reply to messages.

That was the plan.
Just a quick “I’m on it” reply. Two minutes max.

Next thing?
I had watched 15 videos. Laughed at 3 reels.
Liked 10 posts. Read comments I didn’t even care about.

I looked at the time — 47 minutes gone.
Just like that.

And guess what?
I hadn’t replied to a single message. 😩

That was the day I admitted it:
It’s not that I don’t have time.
It’s that I’m letting my time get stolen… by distractions that give me nothing in return.

Since then, I’ve started setting strict timers on social media.
⏱ 10 minutes to scroll
⏱ 1 hour to create
⏱ 1 goal per day
Because if I don’t take control of my phone, my phone will control me.

Some of us aren’t lazy — we’re just trapped in consumption mode.
Break the trap.

The same phone that distracts you… can also make you money.

Use it with intention.

I used to borrow data just to scroll Facebook…

Today, I use that same data to earn online. Here’s how it started…

There was a time I had only ₦200 in my account — and I still used it to subscribe for data. Not because I had a plan, but because scrolling made me forget my problems.

Because it proved to me that this thing works.

Now?
I help others — especially women — stop scrolling and start earning.
