It is with great honor, humility and immense gratitude to God Almighty that I bring to your esteemed attention the nomination of Dr. Akpem Terese Shadrach, a distinguished Nigerian of Benue extraction, Entrepreneur, Mandela Washington Fellow, Thought Leader and the Founder of Vet Konect (Africa's award winning Animal health care access provider), for the prestigious World Food Prize. The global unveiling of the awardees will take place from the 29th to the 31st of October 2024 in Iowa, USA, a ceremony that will open doors to mentorship, funding opportunities, and collaborations with leading stakeholders in the Agricultural sector providing ample privileges for consolidating His Excellency's drive for foreign direct investment (FDI) into the State on his ongoing networking sessions at the UN General Assembly ongoing in the USA.
