Many motorists and travellers have been stranded at Okpella, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo, due to restriction of movement order during the governorship election.

Recall the police had directed a restriction order on the movement of vehicles between 11:59 p.m. on Friday and 6:00 p.m on Saturday.

After over one hour of waiting on the queue, Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki has finally voted.

There was pandemonium at his polling unit 19, ward 04 in Oredo local area when a fight broke out between party supporters.

The clash was resolved about five minutes later when the attacker was led away by security agents.

He voted at 11: 50am with his wife.

One person has been reportedly shot at Ologbo in Ikpoba Okah LGA, Edo State.

Contacted on the alleged shooting at Ologbo Dukedoom, the Enogie, HRH Jason Owen Akenzua, said he heard gunshots and when he contacted the DPO, he was told that it was police that fired shots when the place was rowdy.

I heard gunshots and called the DPO Ologbo.

There was pandemonium at the polling unit 19, ward 04, Oredo local government area of Edo of Governor Godwin Obaseki.

The pandemonium broke out as a young man attempted to disrupt the voting process as soon as the Governor entered the unit.
